Trudie and Kirk would like to invite you to our house this Sunday for
our second annual holiday ride and party. The pre-ride of our 30 mile
Ramona Tour last Sunday morning was incredibly beautiful and
invigorating! We can only hope for similar crisp clear weather for
this Sunday. Meet at our place in Ramona (not the bikeshop, our
house) at 9 AM in preparation for a leasurly 9:30 roll off. There
will be an option at 20 miles to head back to the house, kick back on
the porch and wait for the return of those doing the final 10 miles
which includes a climb up Hwy 67 and a 40+ mph blast down Archie
Moore Rd. Once we're all back at the house, we'll heat up the soup
(choice of Kirk's homemade Turkey Vegetable or Vegetarian Vegetable),
enjoy some hors d'erve (nuts included!) and sit down to soup, salads,
and deserts. Bring an hors d'erve (can't find this stupid word in
spell check!), salad, or desert. We'll have bottled water, sodas,
beer, and wine available. Those gluttons for punishment amoung us can
turn on the Charger game! Please RSVP by email or leave a message on

Route sheets will be posted in a day or two. Trudie and I hope to see

Directions: From Interstate 15 in Poway, take Scripps Poway Parkway
east to the light at Hwy 67. Turn left on 67 towards Ramona and
follow into the Ramona valley to the light at Dye Rd. Turn right on
Dye Rd. and follow it through a series of manditory 90 degree turns
as it becomes Ramona St. and then Warnock Rd. to the light at San
Vicente Rd. Turn left onto San Vicente and continue 1/4 mile over a
slight rise in the road. At the down-side of the rise, enter the
lefthand turn lane and make a left onto Creelman lane (dirt road).
Our house is the only one, a block down on the left. Drive through
the open gates on the left after you pass the house and park to your
right, nose up against the fence facing away from the house. We'll be
a-sittin' on the porch a-waitn' for ya!
