Please announce the following events to your club members or post on your
website.

August 16, 2003
30th Annual Midnight Madness
Fun night of cycling, contests and entertainment to support community youth
programs. The cycling route is a 20-mile, primarily flat loop course along
some of San Diego's most beautiful waterfront and historic areas. The ride
starts at midnight but be sure to come early to check-in and participate in
the raffle, the lighting contest, and the Alaska Airlines Costume Contest
for your chance to win many fantastic prizes! $25 pre-registration. Day of
ride entries allowed ($30). Open to riders of all ages. Register online at

20K Time Trials - San Diego Senior Olympics*
Fiesta Island, Mission Bay
Check-in: 7:00am
Open to all riders 40+

September 13, 2003
Criterium - San Diego Senior Olympics*
ARCO Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista
Check-in: 8:00am
Open to all riders 40+

September 14, 2003
20K/40K Road Race - San Diego Senior Olympics*
Jamacha Middle School, Steele Canyon Rd., El Cajon
Check-in 7:30am
Open to all riders 40+

*Compete in 5-year age groups beginning at 40. Gold, silver & bronze medals
to top three finishers in each age category.
* Special awards to Omnium (3 events) winners.
* No day of race entries accepted.
* USCF rules will apply
* $36.00 registration fee + $5 for 20K Time Trial + $10 for Criterium + $5
for 20K or 40K Road Race (ie. $56 for all three events).
* Registration fee includes T-shirt, goody bag and one ticket for the
Opening Ceremony Dinner at Viejas Casino (only 270 tickets available).
