Jerry and I decided to do one of our favorite rides - originally one of Tony's rides that we were going to do about a year and a half ago. (Thanks Tony - I hope it's okay!)  It's a Rancho Sante Fe ride that starts at Townsgate Drive, meanders through the gorgeous hills and dales of Rancho Sante Fe and returns on the coast. It is about 36 miles and is definitely worth the effort. We'll have trip tics at the ride start - 9am - in the parking lot of the Carmel Valley Recreation Center.

 

To get to the ride start: from I-5, take the Del Mar Heights Road exit, go east to El Camino Real where you turn right (south). Go approximately 1/4 mile, turn left (east) onto Townsgate Drive. Turn right into the parking lot of the recreation center which you'll see, then turn right again and look for tandems. Hopefully we'll see you there!
