'O5 KHS Alight - any opinions?
Hey all!
Been riding the tar outta my old GT Sorrento. It feels almost rubbery,
compared to the other bikes my captains and I've tried: KHS chrome-moly,
and a Cannondale RT aluminium jobbie. I've not had good luck with the
classifieds.
I'm seriously considering ordering a KHS Alight tandem.

It's an aluminium frame with a captain's top tube that angles down. A mtn
bike frame, that I'll mostly use with road tires. (We do go offroading,
and that may explain why my GT feels like a wet noodle, now.) I'll
probably swap the rigid forks for something with more give. Anyone have an
opinion? Anyone ridden this bike?
Some of you may recall that I'm the stoker, and ride with a variety of
captains. To handle my giant captains, we'll use a different handlebar
stem, and maybe a longer seatpost. For my smaller captains, we'll use a
stem that brings the bars back further.
