Hi Everyone,

Join Trudie and Kirk Sunday May 1st as we go once again in search of
the answer to the question that has plagued San Diegans down through
the ages: "Where the hell is Boulevard?!". We'll meet in the parking
lot of the Golden Acorn Casino at Interstate 8 and Old Hwy 80, about
10 miles east of the Buckman Springs turnoff. Look for our smallish,
all fiberglass, brown and white motorhome. This will be a no
stoplights (!) 40 mile loop through the beautiful San Diego
backcountry passing through Buckman Springs, Campo, and (yes)
Boulevard. Twenty miles into our tour in Campo, we'll stop for a
little historical and cultural enrichment (and to use the bathroom)
at either the Motor Transport Museum or the Old Stone Store
(depending on how high level negociations go this week). Fifteen
miles later, in Boulevard, we'll ruin our plans to use this ride as a
start towards a new level of fitness by stopping at the Wysteria
Candy Cottage. To atone for our sins, we'll finish up with a 6 mile
grind back to the casino. Anyone wishing to partake of a post ride
lunch is welcome to join us in the casino restaurant where a very
broad menu of good quality reasonably priced food is served.

Plan to arrive at the casino in time to roll off at 9:30 AM. Keep in
mind that this is an hour drive (or more) for most people. We hope to
