Hi Tandem Club members,
Trudie and I would like to invite any team that is in the club to join us for the 17th annual Scripps Ranch Old Pros 50 mile organized ride on Friday July 4th. Come ride with us as a group and promote tandeming to a large group of single riders. The ride is always a fun way to kick off the holiday. It starts on Mira Mesa Blvd. and heads down into Carmel Valley. Then it goes through Fairbanks Ranch and Rancho Santa Fe and then out Del Dios hwy to North County Fair. From there, you get the 15 "connecter" to Pomerado Road which takes you Poway and back to Scripps Ranch. The ride is well supported and includes aid stops with fruit, water and porta-pots and a finishing festival with a free Karl Strauss beer garden and event T-shirt.
