Everyone-
Jerry and I are leading the ride this Sunday that will begin at 9 am in Mission Bay at our usual place in the De Anza Cove parking lot. We will head south-east and wind our way through historic San Diego, including Old Town, Mission Hills, Hillcrest, Banker's Hill, then meandering through parts of Balboa Park and finally Golden Hills. We'll call this the Singing Bridge ride, as we'll take you to a special bridge that, you guessed it, sings! Some hills, but not as many as our previous historic San Diego/footbridge ride. We can get some lunch on the way back on India Street, boasting a multitude of ethnic restaurants whose diversity is sure to satisfy everyone. As you can tell, this will be more of a socially paced ride with lots of sights along the way, about 30 miles or a little less. There are enough hills to get a good workout, so don't let the low mileage deter you! We'll have trip tics at the start of the ride.
It's hard to say what the weather will be like, although it is June which usually means somewhat gloomy in the morning. We are confident that the weather will be perfect for us however, and look forward to seeing many of you!
