Happy Valentines

Betty and Dave send their heart felt thanks for all the visitors and
cards. A very large card was delivered by Sarah and Tony of the San
Diego Tandem Club. Betty says she is back to her cheery self especially
this week when the doctor said she would no longer need to wear her leg
brace. Betty tried using a walker for the first time this week and she
says she can't believe how tired and sore her muscles are from such
little activity.

Today Betty went on her first outing that didn't include a doctor's
visit. They had nice drive around town and lunch at Marty Hambright's.

Betty is looking less like a patient since she gets dressed in shorts
and a t-shirt each morning instead of a hospital gown for her therapy
and to visit with family and friends.
