Ten (10) tandem teams from the San Diego based Blind Stokers Club
(BSC) have just completed the 5th annual 225 mile Cycling for Sight
(CFS) benefit bicycle tour from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Three
days of 75 miles each, campus hopping from UCSB, to Pepperdine, to UC
Irvine. All the teams excelled on tour, and were surrounded by lots
of single cyclists sharing the marvelous experience. The campus model
and "sports camp" atmosphere is a blast.

The BSC is a year-round club, centered around tandem teams of sight-
impaired or blind stokers and experienced tandem captains.
Participants are all ages (13 to 78) and abilities, seeking the simple
joys of recreational cycling. BSC teams have logged over 10,000
member miles in each of the last 2 years. Twenty teams have completed
the 3-day CFS tour.
