Hi Tandem Friends - How about joining us this year for a pedal to petco park?
Pedal to the Park rated among "Best" by Bicycling magazine
In case you haven’t seen the June issue of Bicycling magazine (“Cue Sheet” guide to the best in cycling, pg 28), a reminder that Pedal to the Park returns Sunday June 7 for a 4th trip to Petco Park. An extra treat this year, the Padres have selected Pedal to the Park and Blind Stokers Club cyclist Ian Gayola to deliver the game ball to the pitcher’s mound. Register now and share a bike ride and ballgame with all of us.
Past PTP participants will remember that the event features:
a variety of scenic routes that start/end at convenient location in Balboa Park;
inclusive cycling and ballgame options for all ages and abilities;
ride leaders for families and novices, and tandem rides for cyclists with disabilities;
complimentary Padres Bicycle Pavilion to safeguard your bike during the game;
shade-friendly seating in the PTP section inside third base.
Thanks for your past support, and hope to see you on the road and at the ballpark.
