Having problems with message search?
Dear fellow SDTCers:
On September 7, for the first time in over 20 years, cyclists will be allowed to ride across the Coronado Bay Bridge.
Full details of the event and registration are available at http://www.bikethebay.net/site3.aspx. Tandem fee is $94 for SDCBC members (all SDTC members are members of SDCBC) before 8/8/08. Fees go up $15 per person on 8/8/08.
I have spoken to several tandem teams who are planning on participating. I suggest that we have a large turnout for this event, which benefits the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition.
I propose that we park and meet in front of the Maritime Museum at 6:10 AM for a 6:20 AM departure for the short ride to the event start at Embarcadero Marina Park South. Parking is free on Sundays. The Bike the Bay event start is at 7 AM.
After the ride around the bay, we can gather at Embarcadero Marina Park South for the post-event festivities.
If you want to ride with us, please let me know and we'll be looking for you on September 7.
