Hi gang.

As promised, here is the notice about next Sunday's (July 13) ride and planning party. We're trying something different this time, just to mix things up.

We'll be leaving Flower Hill Mall at 9 a.m., do a 30- to 35-mile ride in North County, staying as coastal as we can, and then return to Flower Hill for lunch at Ajiya, a new Asian restaurant that several people have tried and really enjoyed. We expect to get there between and 12:30, give or take. During lunch, probably while we're waiting for our food to arrive, we'll take care of business and fill out the ride calendar. As a special treat for everyone who comes to lunch, the club will pick up the tab for mochi desserts--a light, refreshing taste of ice cream and fresh fruit. (You're on your own if you want one of the other desserts, however.)

IMPORTANT: We need your RSVP if you're planning to stay for lunch, so we can give the restaurant a head count. So please let me know ASAP--no later than Friday--if you're planning to be there.

We probably will not have time to snail mail out the notices this time, so please respond as quickly as you can to this. And if you can't make the lunch but are willing to lead a ride between now and November, please let me know so we can add you to the schedule. Remember, there are only rides if all of us as members agree to lead them.
