NorthWest Tandem Rally in McMinnville Oregon was a treat.
The town, small college, routes, organization - all top notch.
Over 700 participants on bikes for 2, 3, 4, and even a family of 5 -
coupled Co-Motion.
Shared some time with Dennis & Cindy Spillane and John & Stacy Morrison.
Thanks Rich Wolf (sorry to hear about your untimely blowout) for the
notice last year; we put it on our 2008 "fun" calendar and enjoyed
our first tandem rally.

PS - we purchased a TREK T2000 from a couple in the area, rode it on
the Rally, dropped it in a Santana box, on the rental pickup truck,
and Alaska Airlines put it on our plane for $50 under their generous
sporting equipment (including tandem bikes) policy. Our first air
travel with uncoupled bike was a success. Oh, did I mention the
workout we got hauling the boxed bike up (yesterday) and down (today)
the grand stairway of the historic McMenamins Hotel - a real memory-
maker (the hotel and the haul).
