Re: [STREND] Nitric Oxide

Active ingredients are caffeine and arginine.

have not tried it, but once in a while I will down a red bull light,
sounds like you had an exceptional workout though.  Can't underestimate the
placebo effect though.

Greg,

678 is pretty amazing. I'm curious to know your baseline, i.e. how
many pull-ups were you typically doing per hour. If it's something
like 300 then NOExplode is some pretty potent stuff, or the greatest
placebo effect I've ever heard of.

My experience with supplements
was back in the days when I tried some Ripped Fuel. I was bouncing
around the gyms curling everything in sight and doing one-armed
pushups at random. I'm pretty sure I scared a few people. That night,
I didn't get to sleep till 4 A.M., and thought my heart would
explode.

Ripped Fuel was later taken off the market after it induced heart
attacks in young, healthy guys. Mua Huang extract was found to be
the culprit. Anyways, after that I've always been leery when it comes to
touching any of these supplements. Still, I wonder what would happen
if I did a trial strend (minus the run, maybe) on NOExplode to see what
sort of numbers I'd post. Maybe you could try it, Greg, and let us know
what happens. Who knows, you could break 200 reps.

Good luck!

Subject: [STREND] Nitric Oxide

Hi,

I had an interesting experience the other day and I am wondering if
anyone else has expereinced the same/similar. Since I have been weight
training almost exclusively I have been using some of the body building
supplements. For example, I use the nitric oxide boosters (arginine and
related substances to boost blood flow). Anyway just to mix things up I
decided to do an hour of pullups and I took one scoop of NOExplode on
hour prior to my workout. I ended up doing 678 pullups in an hour!
Unofficial, of course, but I felt awsome. I know this sounds a little
like a commercial, but honestly I am wondering if anyone else has tried
these kind of products with STREND?

My lifting is going well. This last week I was able to bench 135lbs 30
times and I had more in me, but that was enough for a warm up. I then
got six reps out of 230 lbs. My weight is up. I am around 143 now. I am
hoping to gain another five pounds (three or four of muscle) and then
loose ten for the competition I am targeting in July. Cardio is another
story. I ran once this month. I was barely able to maintain a 9 minute
per mile pace for five miles. One sport at a time.
