Ouch!, I know how those blisters feel. Only 27 away from my mark, not 50.
What were your 10/15 minute splits? An hour is a long time and endurance is so
important, you are right once you hit a wall, that is it. Are you sure that
going harder sooner might not get you to that wall sooner? or is your strategy
to be able to recover after a certain time and a certain amount of sets? Either
way you have gone the full hour, so now you have benefited from the experience,
mentally and physcially you are better prepared to improve.

is I fell just shy. I did 495 in an hour. That's less than 20 away
from the "offical" record of 512, 50 away from Matt's mark. I think I
learned a oouple of things from this attempt (like going a bit harder
sooner because once you are burned its impossible to recover) and will
probably try again in a few weeks. I have some mega sized blisters...
