You are in great shape and I hope we can do a Strend in the Spring!
I had a good run in the Atlanta Half Marathon over Thanksgiving. I
ran 1:23:42 (7th out of 560 in my agegroup).
Last Friday I worked out at a gym in Huntsville, AL and it is a good
thing when the trainers are impressed with you. I am in the strength-
stabalization phase of my weight training (I follow and am a trainer
in Colgan's Power Program for athletes, www.colganinstitute.com) and
I am doing weighted pulls and chins (90 lbs each + body weight) to
gain strength. They asked me how many pulls I could do and I did 35.
I'll start Strend specific training a couple of months prior to a
Strend. Cheers!
Greg
