If I had a choice, I would opt for the 6:00 PM slot. Would allow for a practice or scrimage that day.

At 2:00, I have a critical practice scheduled where I plan to get much of the information I'll bring to the meeting. Which is it? Please clarify.

Just wanted to make contact with you. It's been a while. Also, wanted to update you concerning De Smet's status. We are going to field a team. Not yet sure if it'll be one or two. Probably one since I've yet to find someone to help me coach. We'll see. Also, I'll make sure that I update our contact information ASAP. For some reason our filter blocks me from the cite. We just got internet at our house. Try to remember to do it tonight when I get home. Also, regarding forms, I will make sure to download these and make copies. I hope to be able to distribute them to everyone before our official start date. We holding ourselves to the same standards as spring sports which means we do not technically start until Feb. 26. We will have meetings and throwing sessions before hand, but no official practices. Can
these forms be ammended?
Ok. That's what I've got. Hope you are doing well. Looking forward to the season. Let me know if there's anything I can do. See you at our meeting.
Thanks,
Peter

Hey, everyone. I, Jason Becker, attended one of these
workshops in Chicago last year, and it was actually
led by the same fella lined up to teach St.
Louis's--Michael Baccarini. Michael's experience as a
(VERY successful) HS coach is almost unparalleled, and
he seemed to be a cool guy, to boot. If it's anything
like the one I attended, he'll give you a boatload of
useful information about ultimate-specific
conditioning and tips for teaching some of the games
fundamentals, as well. There's also lots of time
built into the day for collaborating and sharing ideas
with other coaches/players. It really was worth the
trip to Chicago, in my opinion.
And here it is, a chance for everyone to get the same
experience right here in St. Louis. Contact Dana to
sign up today--don't miss this opportunity to help our
community and our sport grow.
Jason.

I know we're still a ways off from league play, but as I'm sure you're
all aware, it creeps up pretty fast. Accordingly, please do two
things for your team as soon as possible.
1) Go to the DATABASE page on the Yahoogroup site and enter THIS
year's contact information for your team.
2) Go to the POLLS page on the Yahoogroup site and answer an
important question about how you'd like to see the league's divisions
separated this year.
Yours,
Jason Becker
PS: Oh, and if you haven't been to the Yahoogroup site in awhile,
there's some important info on the site's homepage that you'll want to
read.
Hey all,
I played on Parkway Central's ultimate team last season, but this year
it dosen't look like we'll be getting a team together (seeing as I'm
the only interested person). I was wondering, and this may be too
early to start thinking about this, if any other teams from the area
would be interested or willing to pick up another player. I played
all of the high school season last year and am currently playing in
SLUAs fall leauge. Drop me a line in my email if you're interested.
Thanks.
Scott Trausch
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
STLHSUltimate group:
For the 2007 HS Spring League, how would you like to see the league split into
"divisions" during the regular season?
o Geographically? (North/South or East/West)
o By last year's rank? (1-6 in one division; 7-12 in another--potentially
problematic with new teams)
o By last year's rank? (1,3,5,7,9,11 in one division; 2,4,6,8,10 in
another)--also potentially problematic with new teams.
o By self-ranked ability level?
o Randomly?

Are you in the SLUA Fall League? Ask the moderator, Tim Wolff if you can be put on Buck's team. Next step, reserve a field, host a sign up, and schedule a clinic with me. I come to your field and teach the game. Track down a Junior named Timo Linck. His dad is one of the best in the world...no exaggeration and will help me coach.

Just so everyone is aware, from now on, if you'd like to post to our
group, you'll need to actually join the group and be signed in as a
member. This was changed in an attempt to reduce the amount of
Wingding-infused spam semi-regularly eminating from our site. Hope it
helps!

FYI--All of 2006's records have been moved from the DATABASE section
of the site to the FILES section and combined into a single Word

A new database has been added. Enter your teams contact information
for 2007. This way teams could arrange some pick-up games before the
winter freeze.
