Hey yall, Hows it going.
Ok the problem is when I gun the car from a dead stop it go to 3rd or
fourth dont remember at around 5k or 6k and start to sputter. I shift
and then gun it some more and it goes. Earlier today started in 3rd
for a hwy run against a civic hatch, a talon, an eclipse, and 2
accords. Okay the civic pulled me in third teo about a car lenght and
the in 4th I pulled till I was bout to his fender at about 6.5k or 7k
wiht the rev limit removed and so i was goin to go to 8k when it felt
like I was hittin a rev limiter or sumthing. I shifted into 5th andthe
went to 7k when we slowed cause of traffic and we went for a good
minute at full blast.
Now Im running a stock rebuilt 12a with rusted RB 2" headers with a
dead resonator I have yet to take out and a N1 muffler, Mikuni Corp
Carb(dont know the specs on it but if anybody know and know if i can
mod it I would appriciate the info), I have to small fuel pumps at 5
1/2 psi, dont know the specs to the pump but ill find out in the
morning. I have 2 3" flexable piping feeding the carb cold air like a
ram air. If i forgot to mention sumthing or you need more info just
let me know. O yea my speedo dont work and I replaced the speedo
cableand it still dont work. Im goin to replace it again or if there
is sumthing I should know that would help get it to work so that I can
read my speed . Thanks.
