Sailing Trip on a 70' Schooner, September 13/14

please join me for a day on the 70' schooner Anne with Captain Reid,
who has been sailing all the seven seas of the world....

For your your convenience, there will be two days to chose from:

Day 1: Saturday, September 13
Day 2: Sunday, September 14
Time: 11.30 AM
Location: Chelsea Piers
Duration: 3 hours (with party on shore afterwards !!!)
Cost: $ 50

Route: We shall sail with the winds and the current, it will be
a lot more fun to go with the stronger elements, thus, it may
either be the Statue of Liberty or the Hudson Valley !

Back by popular demand! Another Night Hiking Adventure
at Harriman State Park September 13/14:

The Ultimate Hiking Experience, this will challenge all your senses!
deep in the dark of night, equipped with flashlights and compass,
seeking out the mountain pathway to the breathtaking sunrise vista!!

we'll stop to light a bonfire on the lake, maybe some moonshine
swimming, toast marshmallows and share ghost stories... :-)

Leave the city around 10.00 PM Saturday night and hit the trails
shortly before the graveyard shift... train our night-vision
capabilities on the van on the ride up, and GO...

Cost will be $45, for transport, park fees, snacks...

An indoor Bavarian beer garden transplanted on Avenue C. Ist gut!

Maybe the East Village didn't need a beer garden, but it certainly
wanted one. Seat yourself--a squeeze on weekends--grab a handful of
the sourdough pretzels and choose from a dozen hard-to-find German
beers. Owner Sylvester Schneider missed the all-are-welcome
atmosphere of the biergardens back home, so he created his own right
down to the trees, checkered tablecloths and communal wooden tables.
