According to Al Gore, the closest thing to skiing in Vermont in 30 years will be water skiing.
But Killington's new owners seem like they are on the road to making sure they close up shop well before the frost line reaches Burlington. Having made one public relations disaster after another since the Spring of this year - multiple groups have been calling for a boycott of the resort. So we figured that some sort of effort to appeal to their core customer base would be coming this fall. Suffice to say - one was NOT. We have been informed that there will be no discounts or vouchers for ski clubs to Killington this year.
We have been politely instructed to "Check the website for specials". Where I once thought Princeton Ski Shops had reached
the pinnacle of hubris with their apparent need to alienate the paying customer, these guys are making them look good.
