On Las Lenas:
Tucked away deep in the Andes resides South Americas biggest and certainly one of the worlds most diverse mountain resorts. Las Lenas, Argentina. This resort is huge with over 40 miles of trails and a vertical drop of some 4,000 feet with 50% Advanced/Expert terrain and 50% Intermediate/Beginner terrain.
With 12 lifts serving 43,200 acres and a hotel capacity for only 3,500 guests, you will find these slopes are not crowded and newly fallen snow remains untracked for days after a storm. Completely above tree line, the
resort offers huge open bowls, long steep chutes as well as wide open groomed runs to satisfy skiers of all levels.
The mountain is divided into two areas- the Lower Mountain and Upper Mountain. The lower mountain is served by 8 lifts and offers a wide variety of beginner and intermediate terrain with many groomed options as well.
The upper mountain is served by 4 lifts and offers options in every Direction. This is where the goods are for advanced skiers. Hugh open bowls and steep chutes that will satisfy the most hardcore skiers and riders. Las
Lenas offers some groomed runs off the top and the views are spectacular.
The Las Lenas Resort is a small self-contained village with a variety of hotels and condominiums scattered across the valley floor. Resort amenities include a casino, nightclub, Movie Theater, game room and pool tables, supermarket and drug store, snow tubing hill and several restaurants and night spots.
If you still have legs after a day on the mountain, Argentina's famous late night bar and disco scene lives strong here in the Las Lenas Valley. It is not uncommon to see folks pouring out of the discotec as you are about to make your first powder turns of the day! This leaves Las Lenas literally crowd free for hours.
Las Lenas is indeed an unreal experience, and we get you there for a solid week of some of the best alpine terrain, extreme skiing, and powder on Earth! Viva Las Lenas!

On The Hotel Escorpio:
The Escorpio is located right at the base, making everything extremely close walking distance. The hotel offers single, double and triple occupancy rooms. All rooms feature color TV, full private bath, safe deposit box, in-room phones, laundry service and daily housekeeping. The base and the main lift Venus are located just outside your large window, you just open it and slide down in the snow with your skis.
The friendly staff at the ski storage take your skis and snowboards as well as your boots which are placed on a very large boot heater that allows you to have dry and warm boots the next morning of your ski day. The staff also securely stores your shoes or slippers that you use to walk from your room to the storage area and back, all you have to do is give them your room number. The staff at the ski storage can take care of your ski or board to be repaired overnight to fix any scrapes or bruises your equipment may have received or simply for a waxing and sharpening. It costs approx. $50 pesos for a complete repair that includes sharpening, waxing, and complete repair.
Pay the staff in cash as they send them out to the Repair Shop and it is not done in the hotel. Be sure to tip the staff at the ski storage at the end of the week, they will not expect it but they definitely deserve it.
