Powder!
I just got back from ALta/Snowbird for four days with the Heslin's.
We got about two feet of snow, and it stormed pretty much every day.
Stayed slope side at the goldminer's daughter for 104 per nite, with
demo, all meals, and lift included. Ther are deffinatly deals to be
had at the slope side places.
Snowbird is in awsome shape compared to Kicking horse or Whistler.
You all should have a blast
Tom Grant.

Cottonwood Canyon is the closest outside of the Snowbird/ Alta
complex, but also not terribly cheap. If you are looking for a real
deal, I have stayed at the Best Western in Sandy, UT. Its about 25
minutes to Snowbird. Still there's nothing like staying slopeside!

going to Snowbird and would like to save some money. I recommend
staying at a place in Salt Lake City. I did that on my trip (3/10/05 -
3/14/05) and the cost for rentaling a car and hotel per day came out
cheap than staying at slope side for one night.

there's a ton of snow left.
