Re: [ski-nyc.com] - Late Season Trip to Snowbird!

Salt Lake is much less expensive. The Residence Inn in Big Cottonwood Canyon is the closest outside of the Snowbird/ Alta complex, but also not terribly cheap. If you are looking for a real deal, I have stayed at the Best Western in Sandy, UT. Its about 25 minutes to Snowbird. Still there's nothing like staying slopeside!

For those that are think about going to Snowbird and would like to save some money. I recommend staying at a place in Salt Lake City. I did that on my trip (3/10/05 - 3/14/05) and the cost for rentaling a car and hotel per day came out cheap than staying at slope side for one night.

If anyone has any snow tips to share, I would be interested.

I've been at Snowbird all this week.  They got 16" on Monday and its snowing now (expecting 6" today).  I highly recommend coming out; there's a ton of snow left.
