New York Philharmonic In Central Park (Free Concert)
 
Wednesday - July 14th @ 6:00 PM
Spend a relaxing evening on the great lawn listening to the Philharmonic.
Details - Great Lawn - Baseball Field 1 (Field Closest to Delacorte Theater)...
just off 3rd base, next to the big tree, call if you can't find us...

Where: Great Lawn Central Park, NY - Fireworks to follow after its over!
 
What to bring:  Chairs or Blankets, snacks, beer or wine.

"Ski Weekend In July?"  - Water skiing that is....
 
Club Getaway - Sports, Fun & Adventure Weekend
July 23rd - 25th, 2004

Club Getaway is Located in 300 acres of the Berkshire Mountains of Kent, CT, and
is an all-inclusive weekend vacation. All the meals, accommodation, sports,
equipment, instruction, activities, & entertainment are included. 200-250 people on a
weekend will enjoy everything from water-skiing, rock-climbing, mountain biking,
volleyball, golf and tennis to massage, yoga, kick boxing, or simply relaxing with a
cocktail down by the lake. There will be over 40 different Sports & Activities.

On the July 23rd weekend, Club Getaway is having a Sports, Fun & Adventure
Weekend and you're all invited.  If you mention Diamond Dogs Ski Club when making
a reservation, you will receive a discounted rate of $316 including tax all inclusive
for the  weekend, a discount of over $90.

As well as all the sports, activities and entertainment, there is always a BIG PARTY
to throw in to the mix, you can dance all night or just relax by the campfire, have
some smores and listen to live entertainment.

Riding along the beaches of Jamaica Bay,  dashing in and out of the wooded trails,
experienced riders as well as beginners welcome, a truly fulfilling experience...

3 Miles of Beach Front Riding / Miles and miles of wooded trails...

Western AND English available !!

Meeting / Departure:
11.30 am @ Union Square
Returning:  appx 4.30 pm

Cost first round:    $45 for group ride / $60  for private ride (faster and harder)
Cost for additional ride:  $27 / $45 per hour

Night Hiking Adventure in the Harriman Highlands
Saturday Night,  July 10 

In conjunction with Comsmo Party...

The Ultimate Hiking Experience, this will challenge all your senses!
Deep in the dark of night, equipped with flashlights and compass, seeking out the mountain pathway to the breathtaking sunrise vista!!      This will bring back memories of our younger years...

We shall leave the city (transport provided with vans) Saturday night, hit the trails shortly before the graveyard shift...     trained our night-vision capabilities on the van on the ride up, and GO...

Meeting / Departure:
9.00 pm Upper East Side, pick-up upon request
9.15 pm Union Square
9.30 pm on the Upper West Side

Returning:  appx. 6.00 am
Cost:    $45 member /  $65 non-member

During the night we will break for a late dinner / snack, start a campfire (ghost stories not included, yet...) and jump into the lake for a swim in the dark...

We will join forces with Cosmo Party to bring you this fantastic event...

Now that summer is finally here,  we invite you to spend a day in nature and escape the hot and humid city...   
Paddle along the Delaware river banks, stop for lunch on the shores, cool off in the water, and plenty of water fights...              
A day in and on the water will be just the perfect thing !

We will provide transportation from Manhattan, rental of the Kayaks, and some snacks on the way back...
You will have the option of single and double seating Kayaks.

Meeting / Departure:
8.15 am Upper East Side, pick-up upon request
8.30 am Union Square
8.45 am on the Upper West Side

Returning:  appx 7.30 pm

Cost:    $65 for members,  $85 for non-members
