The forecast is calling for a possible rainshower. Please dress
accordingly...

Check in is downtown from 6:30-7:45 - You want to be up at
the flagpole at Union Square (14th &Bway) by 8am for departure.

Go to the sign in and get your bib. But don't wait at the start!
(The crowds are insane - so we avoid them completely...)
Ride your bike up to Union Square (14th and Broadway) and
meet us there. My cell is 917-696-1165 to regroup if you need to.

Note from John: Take your bicycle out for a short ride before Sunday,
a quick shake down to make sure everything is working. Make sure the
tires are properly inflated. The ride is long enough. On an under inflated

tire you have to work harder and are more prone to flats.

Padded shorts are strongly suggested, hey its 4 hours on a bike seat
need I say more. Again we are going to out there for about 4 hours,
the weather can change so dress accordingly. Besides wearing a helmet,
sunglasses are also suggested.

Things to bring: HELMET, Gloves, Extra Tube (preferred) or Patch Kit
Padded Shorts, Water Bottle or Camelback, Clif or other energy bar
Optional: Sunscreen, Walkie Talkie (We're on Channel 10:25)
