($817) room in beautiful 3BR Victorian - 6/1 (lower haight)

The apartment is the second floor of a three story restored Victorian (and
restored means 1930s stove, stained glass, antique wallpaper, hardwood floors -
so it's got a lot of character but is a little quirky). Our landlady spends half
her time in the garden apartment below us - we have full access when she's away.
The living room has wainscotting, a view of the garden, and southern exposure.
We have basic cable and wifi. With utilities it averages about $900/month. And
there's drive way parking (although it does get ticketed a couple times a year).

The unfurnished room opening up on June 1st is the library so it has floor to
ceiling shelves and is about 10 x 12 ft (currently fits a desk, queen size bed,
dresser, and two chairs). It shares parlor doors with the front bedroom but
we've put soundproofing board up which helps muffle the sound. The room has two
windows, one of which is stained glass, and gets nice afternoon light.

We are both female grad students in the humanities but one will be moving out at
the end of June (you can help pick out our new third) so I'll just tell you
about me. I'm mid-30s and finishing my dissertation so I've got an erratic
schedule but spend a lot my time working at home. I'm totally fine with having
people over (as long as its not too noisy or too late unless previously warned);
we've had a lot of guests staying for four or five days with no problem. The
apartment is kept reasonably clean. I cook meat sometimes, also compost, shop at
Rainbow, etc.

We're steps on the 6, 7, and 71 and just a couple blocks from the Church St.
MUNI, 24-hr Safeway, Golden Natural, etc.

Condo has an extra office/guest room w/ futon, a sectional sofa with 32" TV and
wifi. Garage parking available for $200 per month. Month-to-month or 3-6 month
