Pickup scene in SF changes with some events
coming up: the end of Daylight Savings time
(which ends evening games in parks, or moves them
to lighted fields elsewhere), the end of the UPA
club championship series (the beach players
usually resume after Nationals), and the SFUC
winter season (coming in November; they sometimes
make a lighted evening field available for pickup
on Wednesdays). Oh, also winter rain moves the
Meshugena game and the game that's usually at
Glen Park.

I recommend the link on the main page of
<sful.org>
Go to <sful.org> and look on the right side; if
you don't see it, have your browser search for
"pickup" on that page.
There's a link to an eddress with an auto-reply.
I update that auto-reply as often as I get new
info.
It only has info on games in SF, but it also has
the URL for a UPA link that can get you info on
other California pickup games.
It's limited to 10 lines, but the maintainers
will eventually email individual answers to
questions such as "which games are more
competitive".

I'm kinda surprised you haven't found it on your
own - the eddress is listed on sful.org, sfuc.org
and upa.org, which are sites that would come up
on most keyword searches.
