Yup, you read it right. My friend Jamie Nuwer and I made a deal a while
ago that we'd do AIDS Ride together this June, and we are going through
with it! Oh yes, indeed. San Francisco to L.A., baby...woohoo!
Did they say 585 miles? Holy crap. But hey, since it's going from
Northern to Southern Cal, that's all downhill, right? Child's play.
Believe me, though, when I say I'm armed with a testicular-friendly
saddle and over 20 gallons of crotch lube -- because numbness and
chafing are NOT my friends.

But now I need your help and support.
I've made a commitment to raise a significant amount of money -- we're
talking some serious cabbage -- for the HIV and AIDS services of the San
Francisco AIDS Foundation. Thousands of individuals in my community
receive life-sustaining services as a result of the money we raise for
the ride.
