Kali Cheung and I found about 20 players who said
they'd all show up if we picked and announced a
start date. We're going for Saturday 10-9-04, and
we'll be there by 11AM.
If players don't show by 11:30, we give up (and I
go play elsewhere).
If it goes well, then another 11AM game on
10-16-04, although I'll miss it (staffing a
weekend retreat).
There's a special event occupying all of Speedway
on 10-23-04, so no game at Speedway that day;
possible game at Mother's Meadow on 10-23-04.

SF "Other Winter League" will hold games on
Mondays from November through February, 7-9 PM.
Just one field, lights vs. darks... more
"organized pickup" than "league", really. We're
hoping for Kimball Field at Geary and Steiner.
That's the same field that SFUC will use this
year; they're expecting to hold league games on
Tues and Thurs, and to host drop-in pickup games
on Wednesdays (thanks SFUC and Henrik Meng!).
Final field confirmation pending with SF Rec and
Park.
SF-OWL registration for 2004-2005 will cost $30
and includes a disc (with the "Spirit of the
Game" print).
