Senior Java Portal Developer
Summary description
We are seeking a senior Java/J2EE developer to help migrate our
Totalview
customer portal from a legacy environment to the BEA Weblogic 8.1
Portal
framework.

Requirements
Four-year technical degree or equivalent.
5+ years experience in Java/J2EE development in a team environment
for a
production web site or portal.
Experience with recent versions Weblogic Server and Portal (6.x
minimum,
7.x preferable, 8.1 ideal)
Excellent Java design and coding skills.
Familiarity with J2EE App Server deployment and maintenance (must
maintain
a private instance of WebLogic Portal)
Strong communication skills.
Must demonstrate initiative, problem solving and organizational
skills.
Must be comfortable and productive in a team-oriented, fast paced work
environment.

Desired
Familiarity with all emerging Portal/Portlet specs (WSRP, JSR 168,
etc.)
Familiarity with Struts (our legacy framework)

Senior Portal UI Developer
Summary Description
We are seeking a senior UI designer/JSP developer to help migrate our
Totalview portal from a legacy environment to the BEA Weblogic

framework.

Requirements
Four-year technical degree or equivalent.
5+ years experience in UI design and development in a team
environment for
a production web site or portal.
Excellent UI design/Presentation layer skills.
Proven ability to design visually appealing HTML pages (online
portfolios
a plus)
Extensive experience with Servlets, JSP, CSS, Javascript, and D/HTML.
Experience designing HTML for multi-browser support (IE, Netscape and
other browsers)
Proficiency with usability issues and user-centered design.
Familiarity with J2EE App Server deployment and maintenance (must
maintain
a private instance of WebLogic Portal)
Strong communication skills.
Must demonstrate initiative, problem solving and organizational
skills.

Software Tester
Summary Description
We are seeking an experienced software tester to perform manual and
automated functional/regression/stress testing of multiple enterprise\
systems, including a BEA Weblogic-based portal, a set of Remedy
applications, an OpenView management environment, and custom code.
Authoring, documenting, executing, and maintaining test plans.
Participation in the software development process, including but not
limited to bug reviews and feature request discussions.
Limited production support, including but not limited to code
releases,
user feedback response, problem analysis, error log reviews, and
document
management.

Requirements
Two-year technical degree or equivalent.
3-5 years experience in software
Experience with black box and white box testing of web based
applications.
Familiarity with Unix, BEA Weblogic, SQL, Remedy, revision control
systems.
Must be detail oriented and analytical, with attention to accuracy.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Must demonstrate initiative, problem solving and organizational
skills.
Comfortable and productive in a team-oriented, fast paced work
environment.

Desired
Experience with jMeter (applicable experience with other OSS test
frameworks will be considered).
Experience with Segue Silk Test software
Experience with Bugzilla issue tracking system
