On Sunday, May 2nd come to Marx Meadow in Golden Gate Park for "World's Biggest
Frisbee Golf Weekend". Brought to you by the SF Disc Golf Club, this is a
one-day
event that offers new players the opportunity to learn the fun and easily
accessible game of disc golf (aka frisbee golf). World's Biggest will also
introduce people to the wonderful new Frisbee golf course in
Golden Gate Park!
The emphasis of World's Biggest is on participation and education. For only $5,
participants will get a specially designed, commemorative Golf Frisbee. For $10,
players get a Golf Frisbee and a T-shirt of the event. KIDS 16 AND UNDER GET A
FREE
DISC.
Members of the SF Disc Golf Club will be on hand conducting demonstrations,
giving
playing tips, and and guiding people through the course. If you have never
played
Frisbee golf before or have wanted to introduce it to someone you know, May 2nd
is
the perfect opportunity for you, your family and all of your friends to come out
to
Golden Gate Park and have a great time!
