(apologies for cross-postings)
Dear Friends --
As many of you know, after 7 years of hard work and struggle, the San
Francisco Disc Golf Club convinced the Parks Department to allow us to put a
course in Golden Gate Park. The course opened in September '03 and has been
a huge success. What many people do not know is that the course is there on
an 18-month trial basis. At the end of the 18-month period (in March 2005),
the Parks Commission will evaluate the course and decide whether to make it
permanent, expand it or have it removed. One of the deciding factors will be
public support for the course. We are starting a campaign to convince the
Department that the course should be made permanent and expanded (it is
currently 12 holes). Please send a letter to the Parks Dept. today! It will
only take a few seconds of your time and will make a huge difference. Simply

You can use the form letter provided or compose your own.
Thanks for your continuing support!
