I am planning on leaving SF at the end of October to
travel the world, and my room will be available to
sublet for the month of November. My housemate may (or
may not) decide to go month-to-month after that, so a
longer sublet may be a possibility.

If you know of anyone looking to sublet, please

lucky subletter, I promise to bring back some cheap
chotchky from my travels as a thank you gift!!

Bedroom with private full bath in 2-BR unit available
for November sublet, with possible extension. We live
on a quiet, tree-lined street in Hayes Valley, within
easy walking distance to downtown, close to many MUNI
lines and Civic Center BART.

The apartment is far from huge, but it's also far from
cramped. We've gotten many comments on how well we've
arranged and decorated it to make it comfortable and
inviting. My housemate is often out and about (though
she's great to hang out with when she's home!), so
you'd often have the place to yourself. I love living
here, and wouldn't leave except that it's a tough
commute to the other side of the world.

* Bedroom is 11'x12', with private full bath and
large closet.
* Ground floor unit of a two-story, two-unit house.
No windows or doors open onto the street.
* Enclosed courtyard area for lounging, gardening,
includes bike/storage shed.
* Furnished common areas include open-floor plan
living/dining/kitchen.
* Washer/dryer shared with one upstairs neighbor.
* 1-month security deposit required (can negotiate
timing of payment).
* Shared utilities (average $15-$20/month).
* Smoking outside is OK. No pets.
* Off-street parking for scooter or motorcycle
possible, but not a car.

-->> The Housemate:
Meghan, 30, professional, socially/environmentally
conscious. Enjoys surfing, Ultimate Frisbee, good
wine, cribbage, bad 80s movies, international travel,
jam bands. Has her own bedroom and private bathroom.
Makes a mean veggie burger. Often out of the house in
the evenings and on weekends.

-->> You (ideally):
Professional or mature student, easygoing, able to pay
rent (duh), enjoy getting out of the house as much as
curling up with a good book and a hot chocolate, pick
up after yourself,... y'know, all that good roommate
stuff.

I also may have furnishings to sell (futon, shelves,
dresser, lamps, bedside tables, overstuffed chair &
ottoman, etc.)

Note to CYCLISTS: This is a bike commuter's PARADISE
location! The Mission, Castro, downtown, Upper/Lower
Haight, Inner Richmond, Golden Gate Park....
everywhere you want to be is within an easy 15 minute
ride or less! If you're into recreational riding, it's
easy to either take the ferry to Marin/Sausalito or
BART to the East Bay. Locked storage shed keeps your
bike secure.
