As always, this list gets first notice of new items in stock.
This item will be going up for auction within the next several days, but with
our buy direct discount, you can own it without bidding, without waiting.
The item we have is a shoot interview with Steve Smith, of the old Dallas-based
World Class Championship Wrestling. Smith, who started off on ring crew, but
later wrestled for World Class tells all in this shoot.
This tape is NOT produced by RF Video (some of you are beathing a sigh of
relief, given some of RF's production values). I can personally assure you
that when it comes to production value, this tape blows away anything by RF
Video.
Although this is an original tape, it (like most of RF Video's merchandise), is
not professioanlly packaged, which means that it's just a standard VHS tape.
However, we can personally assure you that we have verified the authenticity of
this item with the original vendor.
Some of the topics commented on by Smith is the von Erichs (why Kevin wrestled
barefoot), who hung out with whom backstage, the origin of David's "Yellow Rose
of Texas" robe and gimmick, who were the biggest partiers, what the
personalities were like backstage and off camera, and of course, the scandals.
He throws out his opinions on Fritz and the drug use of not only his boys, but
of some of the other WCCW personalities as well, the Memorial shows, and the
supposed "World Class Curse" that affected Rick Rude, the Von Erichs, the
Freebirds, Gino Hernandez, Chris Adams, and others.
Tape is $15, plus $1.42 Media Mail shipping or $3.85 Priority Mail shipping,
taking your $3 direct purchase discount into consideration.
