Folks, this was sent to our President through his membership in the
Cauliflower Alley Club. Obviously, times are tough financially for
all, but we here at SFP feel this is worthy of posting. We're going
to be passing this around the various message boards and groups we
belong to.

To our CAC members
The CAC has already sent the maximum that our by laws allow to help
with the
expenses but I am afraid that it is only a drop in the bucket, if you
would
care to make a donation individually here is the information. Walter
Killer
Kowalski has given his whole life to wrestling and the training of some of
the truely great stars over the years. There may be a few as good as
Walter
but you can be sure there are non better.

As I'm sure you're aware Walter Kowalski has been off life support since
last Monday (August 18th). A fund for Walter has been set up that is
accesable ONLY by Theresa Kowalski. The address to directly send funds
that
will be immediately available to help with medical costs and other
expenses
is
*The Walter "Killer" Kowalski Memorial Fund
Citizens Bank
876 Main St.
Malden, MA 02148*
In regard to a benefit show, Theresa's wishes are that all efforts be
concentrated on this one event that she will attend. A longtime friend of
Walter's (and former partner in his school), Richard Byrne has secured a
venue in Malden, MA near their home for Sunday, October 26th at 2 P.M.
I've
also been a close friend of Walter's for 34 years. All participation
in the
event will be donated and all proceeds will go directly into the fund.
We've
already had volunteers from former students to stars wanting to
participate.
I'm writing you to ask if you would help getting some of those that Walter
really mattered to aware and possibly involved in the show in some way.
Bruno, of course, comes to mind but I am not sure about his ability to
leave
his wife. There are so many others. Over the years Walter has touched so
many people and we'd like to make this a special event for Theresa and
be of
some financial help to her when she needs it. I'd love to hear you're
thoughts. Thank you so much.
Regards,
*Terry Allen*
