ALL-STAR CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING BATTLEGROUND 2008 RESULTS   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #337 of 421 |
Saturday, May 3rd, All-Star Championship Wrestling held
"Battleground". A battleground it certainly was, with numerous
wrestlers on the card with long-standing grudges against each other.

"Snake Eyes" Jason Reiley v. Tony Mega

Reiley makes a return to ACW after a several-month absence to battle
Tony Mega. As Reiley is himself a young high-flyer, he may be able to
counter some of Mega's usual offence.

The two lock up, and Mega takes the early offence as he takes Reiley
off-balance with an arm drag, but Reiley flips himself over, spinning
out of the move and reversing it, twisting Mega's arm behind his back.
Mega now spins himself free, and both men circle the ring before
locking up. Mega quickly takes advantage, landing a knee to the
midsection of Reiley, doubling him over, and lands a forearm across
the back of Reiley. Reiley recovers enough to whip Mega into the
ropes. Mega comes off the ropes and is greeted by a chop to the chest
from Reiley. Reiley goes to the well again, but this time, Mega puts
on the brakes, instead taking down Reiley with a neckbreaker. Mega
quickly presses the advantage, covering Reiley, but only gets a one
count before Reiley kicks out. Mega pulls up Reiley by his long hair,
and clubs Reiley across the back with forearms. Mega continues his
punishment of Reiley, draping him across the middle rope, and then
kicking him in the midsection while he's hanging on the rope. Mega
again takes Reiley by the hair, pulling him back down to the mat, and
covering him. Mega is only moderately more successful this time,
scoring a two count before Reiley kicks out.

Mega begins to choke Reiley, and the referee warns Mega about it, so
Mega again covers Reiley and again only gets a two count from his
effort. Mega again grabs the hair of Reiley and adds further insult
to him with a slap across the face. Snake Eyes returns the favour.
Mega, however, still maintains control of the match, landing a series
of punches on Riley, and then brings him around for a reverse
neckbreaker. Mega covers Reiley again, and again is only able to
get a two count. Mega yells at the crowd as he picks up Reiley by his
long mane of hair. The sharp pain revives Reiley and he takes the
offence, landing several forearms to Mega. Reiley backs himself into
the ropes and launches himself at Mega, who catches him in a
sleeperhold, jumping on the back of the taller Reiley. The additional
weight of Mega wears down Reiley faster. Recognising that he needs to
"get the monkey off his back", Reiley backs hard into a corner,
freeing himself. Reiley spins around quickly so as to maintain his
offence and lands a right hand punch to Mega, following up with a chop
across the chest. Reiley attempts to whip Mega into the opposite
corner, but Mega reverses, and instead it is Snake-Eyes sent crashing
into the corner. Mega attempts to follow up, but underestimates his
target, and lands at the same time Snake-Eyes attempts an offensive
manoeuvre and both men crumple to the mat.

The referee checks both men, but they quickly recover, and Reiley once
again takes over on offence with a boot to the face of Mega, following
up with a dropkick. This time, Mega manages to get to his feet first
and nails Snake-Eyes with a left hand punch. He whips Reiley into the
ropes, but Reiley reverses. However, Mega quickly slows the pace of
the match with a boot to the gut of Snake Eyes Jason Reiley, and then
drops him with a side Russian leg sweep. Mega's ego begins to get the
better of him here, as he jawjacks with the fans, as opposed to
pressing his advantage and covering Reiley. Reiley takes full
advantage of the opportunity, slowly rising to his feet and quietly
creeping up behind the distracted Mega, and kicks him in the ribs,
dropping Mega. Reiley immediately capitalises on his advantage,
covering Mega, hooking the leg and scoring the victory in his first
match back.

Before the next match begins, ACW Commissioner Rev. Ben Johnson comes
down to ringside to the strains of Frank Sinatra. After announcing to
the fans that the next inductee into the ACW Hall of Fame will take
place at the ACW 10th Anniversary Show in July, he then makes an
important announcement regarding the strap match tonight. Previously,
Ben had mentioned that there would be a special referee for the bout.
Now, Ben reveals who he has selected, and it's the good Reverend
himself! Certainly, Ben has his issues with Colucci, but can he be
the fair and impartial official? We'll see.

No Time Limit Match:
Jerry Stylz v. "Simply Amazing" Justin Dredd

Duke University's own Jerry Stylz is first out for this match against
the former ACW X-Division Titleholder.

As the bell rings, both men carefully circle each other, sizing each
other up. They almost lock up, but Dredd pulls away at the last
second, leading the crowd in a brief bit of applause for himself,
getting psyched up for the bout. He turns his attention back to
business and circles the ring with Stylz again. Stylz takes the more
aggressive position, going straight for the legs of Dredd, attempting
a leglock. Dredd reverses the move, pulling Stylz into a pinning
position and gets a one count from the move.

Back on their feet again, they circle each other again cautiously,
feeling each other out prior to locking up. Dredd goes under Stylz,
attempting to roll him up into a schoolboy pinning position, and again
gets only a one count. Undeterred, Dredd again grabs Stylz from
behind for a quick rollup, this time getting a count of two. Dredd,
clearly desiring to end the match early, goes for a backslide on
Stylz, getting another two count. Stylz backs himself into the
corner, pleading for a time out before rolling out of the ring to
break up the momentum of Dredd. The crowd taunts Stylz by chanting
"UNC", Duke's arch-rival. Back in the ring, Dredd takes the arm of
Stylz, wrenching it behind his back. Stylz responds with a back elbow
to the face of Dredd, relaxing Dredd's grip, allowing Stylz to reverse
the hold, which he manoeuvres into a standing side headlock. Stylz
brings Dredd to the mat, and clamps a leg scissors around the throat
of Dredd. As Dredd struggles to free himself, the referee checks to
ensure the hold is not actually choking Dredd, and also to see if
Dredd is going to submit.

Dredd fights his way free to give a drop kick to the face of Jerry
Stylz, and works on wearing down Stylz with a side headlock on the
mat. The referee now checks to insure Stylz doesn't submit. Dredd
adds a little psychological warfare to the mix, giving Stylz a noogie.
Stylz slowly makes his way to his knees, then to his feet, but Dredd
still has the side headlock clamped on tight. Stylz continues to
fight his way free, but for every bit Stylz gains, Dredd clamps the
headlock on a little tighter. Stylz flips Dredd over his back in an
attempt to free himself, but Dredd responds in kind, slapping on an
armbar and bringing Stylz to the mat again as the referee checks Stylz
if he submits.

Dredd continues to work the arm, taking hold of Stylz's wrist,
wrenching it. Stylz takes hold of Dredd's hair, backing him into the
corner. The referee is right on top of the action, as he counts for
Stylz to get out of the corner. He releases Dredd, but not before he
lands a cheap shot punch, and a slap across the chest. He follows up
with a hard right hand. Stylz finally lets Dredd out of the corner,
and sends him to the opposite corner. Dredd bounces off the second
turnbuckle and lands right on Jerry Stylz. Dredd takes advantage of
the situation, and once again takes the arm and wrist of Stylz,
wrenching it. He softens him up with several kicks while he continues
to apply pressure to Stylz's wrist. He keeps Stylz dazed by
headbutting him, wearing him down. Dredd continues to punish Stylz
with some knees, and the referee checks to make sure Stylz is not
going to submit.

Stylz begins to fight back with some forearms to Dredd. Stylz whips
Dredd into the corner, but Dredd comes out of the corner with a cross
body block, covering Stylz for another two count, and Dredd is once
again in control of the match.

Dredd continues to work over the arm of Jerry Stylz, utilising the
strategy of selecting a single body part, and then focusing all of the
punishment to that part. Stylz pushes Dredd into the corner, landing
some headbutts to the midsection, knocking the wind out of Dredd and
taking control of the match back from Dredd. He takes Dredd out of
the corner, and lands a forearm to the back of Justin Dredd. Stylz
whips Dredd into the ropes, and takes him down with a back suplex.
Stylz covers Dredd for the first time in this contest, but is only
able to get a two count before Dredd kicks out.

Stylz pulls down the straps of his singlet, mimicking former ACW guest
star Jerry "The King" Lawler. Stylz renews his attack on Dredd,
raining down forearms across the back of Dredd, and picking him up for
a suplex. Stylz covers Dredd again, but can only get a two count
before Dredd kicks out. Stylz brings Dredd down with a headlock.
Stylz works over the back of Dredd, pulling Dredd's arms behind him,
as the referee checks to see if Dredd submits.

With the crowd support, Dredd begins to make his way to his feet,
landing a series of elbows to the ribs of Jerry Stylz. Dredd, back to
his feet, whips Stylz into the ropes. However, he misses his
clothesline, leaving the window of opportunity open for Stylz, who
takes him off his feet and to the mat with a standing side slam.
Stylz milks the crowd's negative reaction for a moment before turning
his attention back to Dredd. He covers Dredd and hooks the leg, but
is still unable to get a three count on "Simply Amazing".

Stylz continues to punish the back of Dredd, locking in a rear
chinlock, while the referee checks it for a chokehold and if Dredd
submits. Dredd makes his way to his feet, with Stylz still having the
chinlock clamped on, but Dredd forces Stylz to break the hold as Dredd
suddenly drops to his knees in a jawjacker. Unfortunately, Dredd is
unable to follow up quickly, but Stylz is downed, as well. Both men
struggle to get to their feet first and press the advantage. Stylz
manages to get enough of his wits about him to cover Dredd and hook
the leg, but is still unable to get a three count.

Dredd gains some offence with some right hand punches, before being
whipped into the ropes by Stylz. Dredd ducks the clothesline attempt,
hitting the ropes on the opposite side and successfully ducking under
Stylz's second clothesline, going to the ropes once more, but as he
catches Stylz with a clothesline, Stylz gets Dredd in a clothesline of
his own, and both men once again fall to the mat.

The referee checks both wrestlers, and begins to count them out. Both
men wearily make it to their feet at about the same time. Stylz
punches Dredd, who blocks it, and follows up with a punch of his own.
Dredd backs Stylz into the ropes through a series of punches. Dredd
lands a big drop kick off the ropes, levelling Stylz. Waiting for
Stylz to get to his feet, Dredd sends him crashing to the mat again
with an enzuigiri. Dredd picks up Stylz to continue his attack, but
Stylz rakes the eyes of Dredd to halt his momentum. Stylz now takes
control and whips Dredd into the ropes. Stylz telegraphs the
clothesline, allowing Dredd to duck under it and plant both knees into
the back of Stylz. Seizing upon the advantage, Dredd quickly covers
Stylz, but is still only able to score a two count. Dredd, still in
control of the match, heads to the top turnbuckle, but Stylz, thinking
quickly, shakes the ropes, and Dredd crotches himself. Stylz lands a
punch on Dredd, trying to keep the momentum. Stylz mounts the second
turnbuckle, exchanging punches with Dredd in the process. Dredd
headbutts Stylz, pushing him off the ropes to the mat. Dredd then
ducks outside to the ring apron, and dives off the ropes from the
outside to the inside in a springboard, stomping on the back of Jerry
Stylz. Dredd rolls over Stylz, and covers him for the three count and
the win.

Jason Dukes comes out to the ring, and has some harsh words for ACW
Commissioner Ben Johnson regarding his not being booked for the show,
and also at his perceived lack of competition. Dukes points out that
he is the reigning NWA Midwest X Division Champion, and questions why
someone of his stature as Champion does not have an opponent. Rev.
Ben Johnson comes to the ring to address the concerns of Dukes, as the
crowd chants, "You suck!" at Dukes. Ben informs Jason that he has
searched high and low, up and down, over to the side, just everywhere
to find a quality opponent for Dukes.

Acting on a hunch that Dukes might disrupt the show, Ben has brought
out The K-Train Kody Rice as an opponent for Dukes. Dukes complains
that Kody Rice is hardly top-notch competition. Kody Rice has a few
things to say about that. Rice says that he has the fans behind him,
but Dukes seems uninterested, and low blows Rice, starting an
impromptu matchup.

Dukes continues to hammer home his point as he lands several punches
to Rice and slaps him in the face. Dukes follows up with a European
uppercut to Rice. Dukes adds to the punishment, draping Rice's neck
across the middle rope, choking him. The referee warns Dukes about
the choke. Dukes, showing surprising agility for his size, dives
outside the ring, stomping on Rice's head in the process. Rice's head
snaps back violently, and he lies on the mat writhing in pain.

Outside the ring, Dukes plays to the audience, massaging his pecs.
Dukes climbs back in the ring, and picks up right where he left off,
stomping away on Kody Rice. Rice attempts some offence, swinging at
Dukes, but Dukes evades the blows and counters with punches of his
own. Dukes moves Rice into the corner, and again slaps him in the
face, following up with a punch. Rice has had enough at this point,
and begins to fight his way out of the corner, whipping Dukes to the
opposite corner. Rice charges Dukes, following up, but Dukes quickly
defends himself, and Rice lands right into a Dukes elbow. Dukes hops
up on the second turnbuckle, and jumps off, bringing Rice's head down
to the mat. While Rice lies prone on the mat, Dukes again taunts the
crowd, showing off his "physique".

After taunting the crowd for a bit, it's back to business for Dukes,
as he again picks up Rice by his head, and takes him down to the mat,
covering him, but only getting a two count before voluntarily breaking
the count to boast to the fans again. Dukes heads up to the top
turnbuckle this time, as the referee counts for Dukes to come down.
Dukes comes off the turnbuckles as he continues to punish Rice,
stomping away at Rice's chest. Dukes again turns to the crowd and
mocks their support of "The K-Train". Dukes pulls Rice to his feet,
and sends him crashing to the mat again with a headbutt. However,
Rice makes his way to his feet and takes advantage of Dukes' lack of
concentration on the match, whipping Dukes into the corner, this time
being careful not to charge right into him, and brings Dukes out of
the corner with a hiptoss. However, the veteran Dukes grabs hold of
Rice's head, and brings it down against his thigh to regain his
earlier momentum. Dukes heads up to the top turnbuckle again, and
dives off in a sunset flip, landing perfectly on target, rolling up
Rice for the three count, retaining his Championship.

Everything But The Kitchen Sink Match for the ACW X-Division Championship:
Thomas Walton III (C) v. Mystique

Champion Thomas Walton gets no respect. Leading up to this match,
he's been teased mercilessly by the fans, and really, the fans have
been on Walton for several months now, calling him Tammy, implying
he's a girl (OK, so we kinda started that whole thing when we kinda
sorta "suggested" that the intergender match was actually a ladies
match, but really, this isn't the time for such minor details...) and
teasing that a match that has the potential to involve cooking and
cleaning items would be right up Walton's alley (with the implication
that he spends a lot of time in the kitchen ala a 1950's housewife).
Having got the better of Mystique in previous encounters, she was
looking to have some serious punishment and humiliation inflicted on
Walton.

Mystique is tremendously over with the crowd at Baba Louie's and rakes
in even more cheers as she presents The ACW X-Division Champion with a
dress to wear for after the match when she defeats him for his title.
Mystique encourages the crowd to chant for Walton to put on the
dress, which he naturally refuses.

The two lock up, and Walton takes hold of Mystique's arm and smacks
her in the back of the head. He pulls her down by her long hair.
Walton continues his attack on the arm of Mystique. Mystique reverses
and now has the arm of Walton. She tugs at Walton's arm, landing some
forearms across the shoulder to further weaken it. Walton again
reverses it, taking Mystique's arm and wrenching it. He straddles her
arm to apply the added pressure of his body weight to it. Walton
endures crowd taunts of "Tammy" as he throws Mystique into the corner.
Mystique regains the advantage by slamming Walton with what appears
to be a baking sheet. Mystique takes a rag and wraps it around
Walton's throat, choking him, which is legal in this kind of
no-disqualification match.

Mystique retrieves the dress from earlier, and attempts to put it on
Walton, but ends up strangling him with the dress instead. However,
strangling Walton with the dress was merely to weaken him enough so
that she can tie the dress on him! Walton, now in the dress, with his
arms pinned inside the dress attempts to free himself, but Mystique
takes a bucket and places it over Walton's head, "ringing his bell"
(beating on the bucket) with a wooden spoon. Walton manages to get
himself outside the ring, to regain his composure and break Mystique's
momentum, not to mention freeing himself from the dress.

Mystique taunts Walton with a pizza pan as he re-enters the ring, but
Walton surprises her with a dropkick, and Mystique may have hit
herself with the pan. Walton covers Mystique, but gets only a two
count. Walton continues his aggressive posture against Mystique,
punching Mystique. Mystique takes a broom and attempts to hit Walton,
who fights for possession of the broom. Walton wins the fight for the
broom, and tosses it outside the ring before whipping Mystique into
the ropes. Mystique reverses, and attempts to knock Walton down with
a knee, but Walton instead grabs her leg and takes her down with a
back suplex. Another whip into the ropes, and this time, Mystique
gets the better of Walton, knocking him down. Mystique takes an iron
and creams Walton in the face with it. Good thing for Walton that it
wasn't turned on. Mystique covers Walton, but can only get a two
count as the Champion kicks out.

Mystique picks up Walton and throws him into the corner, once again
gaining control of the match. Mystique picks up a rubber glove, as if
to challenge Walton to a duel (slap him across the cheek), but instead
takes a fork and gives Walton an amateur prostate examination with it.
Mystique takes the baking sheet again, slamming it into Walton's
chest, and when he reflexively bends over, she lets him have it across
the back. Walton recovers enough to bring Mystique down to the mat,
almost in a DDT fashion, covering her for the three count, retaining
his Championship.

Walton displays great sportsmanship and acknowledging Mystique as a
tough and talented competitor, shaking her offered hand, but the
congratulatory "honeymoon" is quickly broken up by the McCoy brothers,
who hit the ring and attack Mystique.

However, despite the physical punishment both wrestlers have taken
during the match, they still are able to fight back against the ACW
Tag Team Champions, as Mickey receives a low blow from Mystique and
Walton flattens Chase with an enzuigiri. The McCoys quickly turn tail
and run, and Mystique raises the arm of Walton, offering her hand in
congratulations to him once again, and Walton reciprocates, raising
the arm of Mystique. Both competitors show great sportsmanship as
they mount opposite turnbuckles, soaking in the cheers of the Baba
Louie's crowd.

Mason Quinn, the reigning NWA Wisconsin Champion, issues an open
challenge for his own title tonight. While an open challenge seeks to
prove that the Champion is confident in his ability to defeat any
opponent, they tend to have a way of backfiring more often than not,
as the least desired opponent is typically the one whom answers the
challenge.

In this case, it's Dysfunction who answers the challenge.
Dysfunction, a former ACW X-Division Champion, knows what the feeling
is of being Champion, and the NWA Wisconsin Championship would be a
huge feather in his cap.

Dysfunction is always a crowd favourite, and tonight is no exception.
Dysfunction and Quinn lock up inside the ring, and Quinn backs "Dys"
into the corner, backing off with a clean break at the behest of the
referee.

They lock up again, each man fighting for control. This time,
Dysfunction backs Quinn into a corner, but breaks clean. The clean
breaks indicative of the respect both competitors have for each other.
They've been up and down the roads together, but when gold is on the
line, there can be no friendship.

They lock up a third time, and Mason Quinn gets the upper hand with a
standing side headlock. Dysfunction is hardly helpless, though, and
pushes Quinn into the ropes. Dysfunction ducks under Quinn's
offence, turns around and ducks under a second time, and on the third
try, he leapfrogs over Quinn, but catches Quinn with a dropkick on the
fourth time.

While Dysfunction scrambles to his feet, it also allows Quinn time to
get to his feet, as well. The two lock up again, with Dysfunction now
going for a standing side headlock. Quinn now whips Dys into the
ropes, and hits the mat to avoid Dysfunction. Quinn leaps over
Dysfunction as he hits the opposite side ropes, and catches
Dysfunction off the ropes with a shoulderblock tackle, sending Dys to
the mat.
Quinn covers Dysfunction, but only gets a two count. Quinn tries
again to put away Dysfunction, only getting another two count. Now
Dysfunction rolls up Quinn, but is only able to get a two count
himself, as both men attempt to quickly put away the other.

Quinn is sent into the ropes by Dysfunction, but Dysfunction
telegraphs his desire by ducking, leaving him open for Quinn to take
him own with a kneelift. Quinn scoops up Dysfunction, and spins him
around before slamming him to the mat. Quinn drops down and covers
Dysfunction, hooking the leg for extra leverage, but again is only
able to get a two count before the challenger kicks out.

Quinn picks up Dysfunction and attempts to whip him into the corner,
but Dysfunction reverses, sending Quinn into the corner. Dysfunction
follows up, charging Quinn with a big clothesline. Dysfunction
switches to an aerial-based attack now, climbing the turnbuckles and
jumping off, planting his boots into the back of Quinn. Dysfunction
quickly rolls Quinn over, covering him, but only gets a two count.

Dysfunction goes for a moonsault, but misses his target as Quinn rolls
out of the way, and Dysfunction crashes to the mat. As both men begin
to tire due to the vast amounts of energy spent and the accumulation
of injuries incurred during the match, they both begin to slow the
pace of the match. Quinn picks up Dysfunction, and sends him crashing
to the mat again in a back suplex. Quinn bounces off the ropes and
misses a fistdrop, as Dysfunction rolls out of the way. Quinn dips
into the well again, going back into the ropes, and this time misses
Dysfunction with a kneelift. Dysfunction bounces off the ropes, and
does not miss his target, flattening the NWA Wisconsin Champion with a
clothesline. He quickly covers Quinn, but is still only able to score
a two count on the Champion.

Dysfunction picks up Quinn and chops him across the chest, backing him
into the ropes. Quinn tries to swing around, and get Dysfunction into
the ropes, but Dys takes down the Champion by the legs and clamps on a
figure-four leglock. The referee quickly gets into position,
carefully insuring that Quinn's shoulders do not hit the mat, and asks
if he submits. Only a pinfall or submission will have the
Championship belt changing hands tonight. As Quinn tires, his
shoulders do touch the mat, and the referee counts two before Quinn
quickly pulls himself off the mat to avoid pinning himself. Quinn
tries to roll over and reverse the hold. It takes significant effort
to do such, but Quinn succeeds in reversing the hold, and now the
pressure is on Dysfunction. Dysfunction manages to release the hold,
and both men scramble to their feet, neither one wanting to concede
the advantage.

Both men exchange brutal chops across the chest, as they struggle to
gain supremacy in the matchup. Quinn blasts Dysfunction with a
forearm smash to the face, softening him up for another back suplex.
Dysfunction slowly rises and catches Quinn off guard with a huge
superkick, just planting his boot into the face of the Champion.
However, for as much as it took out of Quinn, it took a toll on
Dysfunction, too, and both men lie on the mat, as the referee begins
to count the both of them out. Both men slowly rise, with Dysfunction
being just a half second faster to his feet. He tries to clothesline
Quinn, but misses, giving Quinn the opportunity to lock up
Dysfunction's arms and spin him around into a backslide, pinning him
and retaining the NWA Wisconsin Championship.

Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the ACW Tag Team Championship:
The Dream Police ("Smokin'" Don Gotti and "Cookie Cutter" Chris
Gambino) v. Chase & Mickey McCoy (C)

It was stated at Spring Fever that this would be the final chance the
Dream Police will have at the Tag Team Championships as long as the
McCoy brothers hold the belts, so the crowd pleasing Dream Police will
need to bring their "A"-game tonight. The Dream Police have a weight
advantage, but in a TLC match, that advantage is neutralised against
the lighter, quicker McCoys.

A fan at ringside taunts the McCoys with some bad poetry: "Roses Are
Red, Violets Are Blue, and the McCoys Suck". It may not exactly rhyme
or go down as great poetry, but it accurately reflects the feelings of
the fans here at Baba Louie's. In a display of the opposite feelings
of the fans, crowd favourites the Dream Police are welcomed with the
usual streamers tossed in the ring by the fans and loud cheers.

The two teams engage in a staredown just before the bell. These two
teams know each other quite well, and wish it could be otherwise, as
the intense dislike they have for one another is clearly evident to all.

The bell rings, as Chase starts off with a hard smack to Gotti, while
Gotti's partner Gambino chooses Mickey McCoy as his "dance partner".
Gotti whips Chase into the corner, and follows up by bodyslamming him
out of the corner. In the opposite corner, Gambino avalanches Mickey,
using his girth to his advantage. Gotti starts chopping at the chest
of Chase, and then "trades" partners, starting to chop at Mickey,
while his partner avalanches Chase. While Gotti occupies himself with
Chase and Mickey, as Gambino gets a ladder. Gotti kicks Chase in the
chest, while Gambino turns his attention back to Mickey with forearm
smashes in the corner. Gambino channels Curly Howard, putting the
ladder around his neck, and then spinning around, taking out the
McCoys. Then, Gotti gets in on the Three Stooges action, taking a
ladder and spinning himself around to knock the McCoys down.

Gambino follows up with a combination move of a knee to the midsection
of Mickey, and then a forearm across his back. Gambino brings Mickey
into the corner and lays him out on the ladder, while Gotti goes
outside the ring and chops at Chase McCoy. Gambino continues his
punishment inside the ring of Mickey McCoy, hitting him with a chair.
Gotti whips Chase into the ringside steps. Gambino has Mickey "take
a seat", continuing his attack with the chair. Mickey is sent to the
outside after an avalanche from The "Cookie Cutter". Gotti takes a
table and introduces it to the ring. Gambino levels Chase with a
powerful chairshot to the head. Gotti drapes Chase McCoy over the
table he brought in, and heads up to the top rope. Gotti dives off
the top rope, but Chase moves out of the way at the last possible
second, and Gotti crashes through the table. Chase takes advantage of
the change in the tide of his brawl with Gotti, stomping at him.
Meanwhile, Gambino is facing a flurry of punches from Mickey McCoy.
Chase dives outside the ring in pursuit of Gotti, while the "Cookie
Cutter" is on the receiving end of a chair across the back from Mickey
McCoy.

With all four wrestlers outside the ring, it has become a huge brawl.
Gambino gets a kick in the face from Mickey and then props a ladder
up to the platform where the camera is stationed, while Chase
continues to work over both members of the Dream Police from the
outside of the ring. Mickey climbs to the top of the ladder and
launches himself on the Dream Police, prompting a chant of "Holy
Shit", and quickly followed up by "ACW".

Gotti rolls into the ring, while the ladder on the camera platform is
removed. Gotti attempts to take advantage of the vacant ring,
climbing up the ladder still in the ring in an attempt to take
possession of the tag team belts. Chase spots him, and quickly enters
the ring, slamming Gotti hard in the back with the chair, while
Chase's partner, Mickey slams "Cookie Cutter" Gambino across the back
with a chair from outside the ring.

Chase continues to work over the back of Gotti inside the ring by
stomping on him. Gotti gets to his feet and whips Chase into the
corner, right into a ladder, and then follows up with an absolutely
brutal chairshot to the unprotected head of Chase. The referee checks
to make sure Chase is all right after the incredibly hard chairshot
from "Smokin'" Don Gotti. The Dream Police have stepped it up a notch
here in their final attempt to regain their belts. Chase is certainly
going to feel that chair to the head come morning. Outside the ring,
Gambino mounts a comeback with a series of right hand punches to
Mickey, while Gotti sets up the ladder inside the ring, and sends
Chase into it.

Gotti lands another hard chairshot to Chase, this time to the back.
Gotti sets up the ladder mid-ring, and climbs up to retrieve the
belts, but Chase slams a chair into the back of Gotti, and Gotti falls
to the mat. Now Chase tries to mount the ladder. Outside the ring,
Mickey tries to hit Gambino with a chair, but Gambino blocks it with a
chair of his own, and there is the ugly crash of steel as the two
chairs slam into each other. Gambino runs into the ring, knocking
Chase off the ladder, allowing Gotti to try again to reach the belts.
Chase evens the odds a bit with "the great equalizer", a low blow to
Gambino.

Gambino manages to recover quickly enough, however, to continue his
attack on Chase. All but Gotti have been busted open at this point.
Gambino now tries to set up the ladder, but is punched in the back by
Mickey. Mickey tries to hit Gambino with a chair, but it appears as
if Gambino saw it coming and was able to deflect some of the force of
the shot with his arms. Mickey lands several punches to Gambino,
while the "Cookie Cutter" counters with forearm smashes. Chase
continues to attack Gotti, while Gambino whips Mickey into the corner
where the ladder is, and then avalanches Mickey on the ladder.

Gambino signals to the crowd one more time, and again avalanches
Mickey into the ladder propped in the corner. Gambino picks up
Mickey, and hurls him into the ladder. Chase slams a chair across the
back of Gotti. Gambino knocks Mickey McCoy over the head with a
table, downing him, but Chase stops Gambino's momentum him with a
chair to the back. Undeterred, Gambino attempts to set up the ladder
mid-ring, but Chase knocks him down. Chase turns his attention back
to Gotti, stringing him up in the corner upside down, with his legs
wrapped around the top turnbuckle. Mickey sets up and climbs a
ladder, but his intent isn't to get the belt, instead, he wants to
punish Gotti, diving off the ladder with a chair.

All four wrestlers are flat on their backs in the ring, barely moving.
They have all absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment in the
match. As they recover, Chase goes back outside the ring to chase
after the "Cookie Cutter", sending a chair into Gambino's ribs, while
inside the ring, Mickey attacks Gotti with a chair. The McCoys try to
roll Gotti outside the ring, but Gambino isn't going to let them.
Chase goes back inside the ring to try to climb up the ladder again,
but a punch to the midsection from Gambino halts his ascent. Both
members of the Dream Police are now in the ring, and they set up the
ladders mid-ring to try to get the Championship belts. However, the
Dream Police want to soften up the McCoys a bit more. Gambino has
Chase McCoy in one corner; Gotti has Mickey in the opposite corner.

The McCoys recover and a change of partners and the McCoys have the
advantage with Mickey taking over the offence on Gambino, while Chase
works over Gotti, leaving the Dream Police prone on the mat, while
Mickey heads up the ladder. However, Gambino rises and begins to rock
the ladder, and Mickey falls down. Chase does a double DDT on the
Dream Police, but Gotti recovers enough to slam a chair across the
back of Mickey when Chase climbs a ladder. Gotti controls Mickey
McCoy, while Chase flies off the ladder in a flying headbutt to
Gambino. Gotti climbs another ladder, but Mickey shoves the ladder
away just as Gotti had the belts within reach.

Mickey tries to set up another ladder with the help of Chase, as
Gambino slowly begins to make his way back to his feet again. Mickey
starts working over Gambino again and Gotti begins to stand. Chase
goes on the attack, landing forearms to the face and back of Gotti.
Gambino begins to fight back, landing punches, while Gotti engages
Chase. Gambino chops Mickey hard across the chest.

The McCoys lay out the Dream Police and make their way up the ladder.
The belts are within arms reach of the McCoys, but the Dream Police
are right behind them. Punches from the Dream Police keep the McCoys
from the belts for the time being. The Dream Police tip over the
ladder, sending the McCoys flying outside the ring. With the McCoys
outside the ring, the Dream Police ascend the ladder, and remove the
belts, in the process becoming the NEW ACW Tag Team Champions for the
second time.

Tejas v. Sam Hayne

Tejas and Hayne are another pair of wrestlers with a long-standing
grudge against each other.

Tejas is the first in the ring, while Sam Hayne makes his usual ring
entrance with Mystique, breathing fire.

Tejas is the early aggressor, backing Hayne into the ropes, but the
demon battles his way out. They lock up in the centre of the ring, and
Tejas lands a knee into the midsection of Hayne, and rains down
forearm blows across the back of Hayne.

Hayne battles his way upright and gains the upper hand in the match.
Hayne takes the arm of Tejas, but Tejas mule kicks Hayne, slowing him
down. With Hayne down, Tejas starts to undo the laces of Hayne's
mask. He suplexes Hayne, and rolls him over for a cover, while Hayne
is distracted attempting to keep his mask tight. Tejas only gets a
two count on Hayne, so he'll have to work a bit more if he wants to
pin Hayne. Tejas still has the advantage, and delivers an elbow smash
to Hayne. A kneelift downs Hayne again, and Tejas quickly covers him,
hooking the leg, but still can only get a two count.

Tejas throws Hayne out of the ring and then joins him outside. Tejas
continues his offence on Hayne with a chop across the chest. The two
continue to brawl into the crowd. If anyone has seen the last several
matchups between these two, it's certainly not unexpected that these
two would need more space to contain their fight. Hayne sends Tejas
into the wall, then follows up with a big kick and a forearm smash
across the back of Tejas' neck. Tejas fights back with several
punches. However, Hayne catches the arm of Tejas mid-punch and sends
him flying across the last row of fans. Down on the floor, Hayne
lands several boots to the head of Tejas. As the two brawl past the
merchandise tables, Hayne grabs one of his own ballcaps, rubbing the
metal clasp on the back of it into the face of Tejas before throwing
the cap into the crowd. Hayne now sends Tejas flying into the
opposite side wall of Baba Louie's. Tejas tries to get a second to
recover by grabbing a walker from a nearby fan and hurling it at Sam
Hayne.

Tejas and Hayne fight their way back to the ring. Tejas enters first,
and is quickly followed by Sam Hayne. Back in the ring, Hayne is
still in control of the match, sending Tejas back with a boot to the
chest. Hayne whips Tejas into the corner, but Tejas reverses, sending
Hayne into the corner instead. Tejas follows up with a clothesline.
Tejas sends Hayne to the mat and renews his efforts to remove the mask
of Hayne. No one knows what the true visage of Hayne is under the
mask, if he wears the mask for purely psychological reasons, or if
there is another, deeper meaning as to why Hayne conceals his features
under the mask. Tejas continues to work over Hayne, smashing him in
the back with another forearm. Tejas slams a knee into the chest of
Hayne, and then covers him in another failed pin attempt.

Hayne and Tejas are now both on the mat after Tejas is thrown off the
demonic Hayne. Hayne adjusts his mask, pulling it down again. Hayne
then scoops up Tejas, slamming him to the canvas. Hayne follows up
with a legdrop to Tejas. Hayne now goes for his first cover of the
match, but is unsuccessful, despite hooking the leg of Tejas. Hayne
continues his assault on Tejas, dropping a knee to his back. Hayne
clasps on a rear chinlock on Tejas, possibly trying to submit his
rival and tormenter. Even with his neck and back being forcibly
pulled back by Hayne, Tejas is still trying to reach back and undo the
mask of Hayne, while Hayne attempts to not only keep the hold locked
on tight, but to also keep his mask on.

Hayne tries to stop Tejas' offence with an elbow, but misses Tejas,
allowing Tejas to roll outside the ring for another breather. Hayne
heads to the second turnbuckle, but misses Tejas. Tejas continues to
try to remove the mask of Sam Hayne. Mystique, outside the ring,
complains to the referee, likely about Tejas trying to remove the
mask, but it's not against the rules to attempt to remove the mask of
Hayne, although it might be against Tejas' better judgment. Back in
the ring, Hayne dives on Tejas, and covers him for the pin and the win.

Even though he lost the match, Tejas shows that winning isn't nearly
as important to him as the psychological blow of Hayne losing the
mask, as he still tries to remove it outside the ring. Tejas succeeds
in removing the mask from Hayne. Tejas tries to go after Mysique now,
who keeps Tejas at bay with one of the flaming torches. Mystique runs
off Tejas, but the psychological victory is his, as he puts on Sam
Hayne's mask as he heads to the back. Hayne is escorted to the back
by Mystique with a towel over his head, so what Hayne looks like under
the mask is still a mystery, but the loss of his mask to Tejas will
certainly add another chapter to their ongoing feud.

Fans Lumberjack Strap Match w/special guest referee Rev. Ben Johnson:
Nick Colucci v. Shane Hills

How far Nick Colucci has fallen over the last several months. At one
point, it appeared that Colucci's Foreign Franchise was poised to do
some serious damage in ACW, but as the old saying goes, "power
corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". The Foreign
Franchise has all but imploded, with all members fending for
themselves and their own interests. When Shane Hills returned to ACW,
it was at the side of the Foreign Franchise as one of the "enforcers"
of the group, and now he battles his former boss, Colucci, in a strap
match, with a twist.

As announced earlier on nwawisconsin.com, ACW Commissioner Rev. Ben
Johnson has declared that he has made available for the front row
seats the opportunity to be a lumberjack for the night, ostensibly to,
in the good Reverend's own words, "strap the hell out of Nick
Colucci". Certainly the fans won't need much convincing to do that.

The lumberjacks line up outside the ring with their straps, warming up
a bit by slapping their hands with their straps. ACW Commissioner
Reverend Ben Johnson comes down to ringside in a referee's shirt in
his capacity of special referee for this match.

"Cadillac" Nick Colucci heads down to the ring first, with the
reigning ACW X-Division Champion, Thomas Walton III, who defended his
title earlier in the night against Mystique. Now Shane Hills makes his
way to the ring.

Nick Colucci decides to start the match a little early, launching his
attack on Hills with a series of stomps, and a right forearm. The
bell rings, and the match officially starts as Colucci whips Shane
into the ropes, but Shane Hills reverses, backdropping Colucci as he
comes off the ropes.

Colucci rolls out of the ring, but quickly remembers where he is and
what kind of match, and decides against it, rolling back into the
right hand of Shane Hills across his back. Hills suplexes Colucci,
covers him and hooks the leg, but is unable to put away Cadillac
Colucci so quickly.

Hills is still in control, and whips Colucci into the ropes, but
Colucci holds on this time. The reprieve is only temporary, as Hills
rains down forearms and fists on Nick Colucci's back. Hills sends
Colucci to the outside, leaving him to the mercy of the lumberjacks,
knowing full well that the fans that are acting as lumberjacks tonight
are going to be quite eager to inflict a few lashes on Colucci.
Colucci quickly returns to the ring, as the lumberjacks outside whip
him. Back inside the ring, Shane Hills is still in control of the
match. Shane whips Colucci into the ropes, catching him for a big
powerslam, continuing his punishment of the Colucci's back. Hills
covers Colucci, but only gets a two count.

Colucci is sent into the corner and is chopped at by Shane Hills.
Shane Hills whips Colucci into the opposite side of the ring, clear
outside the ring, allowing the gleeful fans to again whip Colucci.
Colucci again quickly scrambles back inside the ring. Shane Hills
greets Colucci back in the ring with a fistdrop from the ropes, and
covers him once again, again unable to score the three count needed to
win the match.

Shane sends Colucci back to the mat with a hard right hand. However,
Colucci recovers and nails Hills in the midsection, regaining the
offence for the first time since the official start of the match.
Colucci follows up with some elbows to the midsection of Hills, taking
him down. Hills quickly regains his footing, but Colucci takes the
legs of Hills out from under him, sending the bigger man crashing to
the mat again.

Colucci works over the ankle of Shane Hills, wrenching it. Colucci
manoeuvres Hills to the ropes, putting the head and neck of Hills
under the bottom rope, contemplating throwing Hills out of the ring,
as Hills had done to him. However, Colucci didn't count on the hatred
the fans at Baba Louie's have for him, as the lumberjacks back away
from the ring when Hills is brought near the edge, and actually aid
Hills in getting back in the ring. Colucci rethinks his strategy and
whips Hills into the ropes, following up with a back elbow. Colucci
continues his assault, raining forearms and fists onto Hills.

Colucci takes Hills down to the mat, and once again attacks the leg of
Hills, wrapping it around the ring ropes. Colucci covers, but is only
able to get a two count. A frustrated Colucci chokes Hills. Colucci
takes Hills outside the ring, as the lumberjacks attack Colucci again.
Colucci is sent into the steel ringsteps before being tossed back in
the ring. Referee Ben Johnson continues to count Hills. Ben Johnson
takes away a strap that Colucci took from one of the ringside
lumberjacks. Shane Hills returns to the ring, taking down Colucci and
covering him, grabbing a handful of tights, but is unable to put away
Colucci. He takes Colucci down to the mat once again and covers him,
this time picking up the three count for the victory over his former
boss, with the pin being counted by his new boss, ACW Commissioner Ben
Johnson.
