By now, you've all heard of the postal rate increase going into effect
on May 14.

Well, as with the last Postal increase, we here at Shadow Fire
Promotions are going to continue to attempt to keep our rates the same
as they are, despite rising costs from the Postal Service, because
quite frankly, the Post Office is in financial trouble because of
mismanagement of their own funds, not because of e-mail or so-called
"competition" from FedEx or anything else. The bottom line is that
the Post office is inefficient, and they spend more time and money on
special projects like plaques, pins, and other stuff that the majority
of non-stamp collecting customers don't buy and only staff the Post
Office when there is no business, while leaving it unstaffed or
understaffed at peak times.

We're going to continue to buy supplies and merchandise only when we
get a great deal on it, and keep our overhead low, so we can keep our
postage rates from increasing, and also keep our $9.99 videos from
increasing as a response.

We know you haven't seen a catalogue in a bit, but we did get some new
stuff in, as mentioned in the previous post, so hang in there, and
we'll have something up soon.
