The Bar on Lime Kiln in Green Bay, WI
Reported By: “Superfan” Eric Swayniac, Official SFP Correspondent to ACW.
Well, it’s that time again for another edition of ACW-NWA Wrestling. Let me
just say: such a great turnout for such a great cause: all proceeds were sent
as relief for Hurricane Katrina victims (ACW-NWA sent $1,200). Let’s delve
right into the action:
1) Bobby V vs. Dysfunction
-This match was a “Step-Up or Shut-up” Challenge. Dys came out before match,
saying that he was tired of guys in the back complaining about not getting
title shots. So, he said that from now on anyone who wrestled him had to
“step-up or shut-up”. Good action occurred in the ring & out of it when Bobby
V flew off the top turnbuckle to the outside, hitting Dys. Except for the
occasional distraction by Empire leader Jason Jerry, a good scientific match,
but the cagey veteran proved to be too much for the younger Valentino.
Winner: Dysfunction w/ “Cradle Power Bomb” from his shoulders
2) J-Cash vs. Dredd (non-title match)
-This match occurred because J-Cash came out & spoke to the crowd about not
having a match. In the process, Dredd came out & attacked J-Cash from behind
with a Kendo stick shot to the back. A match was made for Cash vs. Dredd by
the Professor w/one stipulation: If J-Cash wins, he gets a guaranteed match for
the ACW Heavyweight title against Quinson Valentino. The match was pretty even
until Jason Jerry & Anne decided to interfere, which brought out Shortstack to
offer support for Cash. Then, Dredd took control of the match until Cash was
able to reverse control, frustrating Dredd after several pin attempts.
Winner: J-Cash via disqualification on Dredd
After the match, Jason Jerry tried to contest the win & stipulation but
Professor cleared up the confusion: he said as long as J-Cash won the match, he
didn’t say how he to win by. This prompted Valentino to come out from the back
& attack Cash, putting him down w/ a Neckbreaker. The match was made for later
that night.
3) Kuba Andrews vs. Chris Black
-This match was pretty much even-paced until Kuba had to rely on his fellow
Playas in Pink members in Josh Maxim & Uncle Morty to sway the match in his
favor. He was able to control the match from there until just about the end
when Black mounted a comeback, which lead him to victory via a thrust kick”.
During the match, Xavier Mustafa came out to observe but as soon as it ended,
ran into to once again attack Black. This prompted TC Washington to come out
to make the save, leading into the next match.
4) Xavier Mustafa vs. TC Washington
-This match was pretty much dominated by Mustafa because of the obvious size,
height, & weight difference between the two. Washington was able to mount
small comebacks but nothing that was able to sway the match in his favor.
Winner: Xavier Mustafa via “Spinning Olympus Slam”
5) NWA WI Heavyweight Title Match: Adrian Serrano vs. Chris Jordan w/ Dana
Hilton
-This was a good returning match for Chris Jordan, who ACW-NWA fans haven’t seen
in quite a while. Dana didn’t interfere in the match too much, which made it
pretty even paced with both combatants showing their technical skills to the
approval of the fans. Jordan kept focus on Adrian’s legs with Serrano focusing
on Jordan’s arms at different points of the match. However, Jordan’s ring rust
was his downfall.
Winner: Adrian Serrano via top rope armbar submission
6) 10-man Gauntlet Match
-The rules were simple: an over the top rope battle royal, with a new competitor
entering the ring every two minutes. The match would continue until it was down
to two combatants, and then the winner was decided by pinfall or submission.
Here’s the roster of entrance & elimination:
Entrance # Participant Elimination #
1 Peter B. Beautiful 1
2 The Baron 2
3 Esteban Molina* 5
4 Tommy Courageous* 9
5 Disco Pete Sisco 3
6 Josh Maxim 4
7 Red Lighting 8
8 Don Gotti 6
9 T-Bone 7
10 Busty Loads Winner
* = ACW Debut
7) Judge Jesse vs. Shane Hills
-Match was pretty much controlled by Shane Hills who dominated a returning Judge
Jesse. There was one point where Jesse was able to make a comeback by tossing
sand in Hills’s eyes but it didn’t last long.
Winner: Shane Hills w/ Fireman’s Carry Slam
8) Diego Poleon w/ Greaseball Bambino vs. “White Dragon” Rob Lee
-Match showcased another wrestler making his ACW Debut. Match was pretty evenly
paced except for when Poleon’s manager Bambino interfered to keep the control
advantage in his favor. At one point, Poleon tried to use a bat he brought
down but the ref was able to grab it away before he was able to swing it at
Rob. It didn’t matter, though; the manager’s distraction was enough for Diego
to have this match end in the “W” column for himself.
Winner: Diego Poleon w/ reverse DDT & distraction from manager
9) Ruff Ryder Rashaan vs. Big Jack
-Match showcased another ACW Debut. Big Jack was able to establish & maintain
control over Ruff Ryder. Triple R was able to make a comeback towards the end
of the match, which caught Big Jack off guard, as well as Rashaan’s agility and
speed for a man his size.
Winner: Ruff Ryder Rashaan via top rope moonsault
10) ACW Tag Title Match: Berzerker & Lone Wolf vs. Ace Spade & Widowmaker
-Match was dominated by Pain & Pleasure (Lone Wolf/Berzerker) for a good portion
of the match with The Black & Blue Crew (Spade/Widowmaker) making small, but
pointless, comebacks. During the match, SAM HAYNE came out & attempted to
“kidnap” Lone Wolf only to have Lone Wolf face off with him toe-to-toe, leading
to the victory by Spade & Widowmaker.
Winners: Ace Spade & Widowmaker via countout
Sam Hayne helped cause the countout due to Lone Wolf being the legal opponent at
the time. Afterwards, as a warning, Hayne blew his infamous fireball into the
air & pointed at Lone Wolf as if saying, “You’re next.”
11) X-Division Match: Nick Colluci w/ Don Gotti vs. Jesus Ramirez w/ Cari
-This match was a great showing of ACW-NWA X-Division action with both
participants bringing in their own respective styles to the match. Control of
the match bounced back & forth between the two with each one getting control
for a good portion of the match. At one point, Jesus demanded Cari enter the
ring to slap Colluci across the face but when she wouldn’t, he turned his
attention towards her & started yelling at her, allowing Colluci to win the
match.
Winner: Nick Colluci via small package rollup
12) ACW Heavyweight Title Match: Quinson Valentino vs. J-Cash
-Match started in J-Cash’s favor until Jason Jerry & Anne decided to interfere
on behalf of The Empire. Quinson then focused all his efforts & attacks on
J-Cash’s neck which was still sore from his match earlier in the night w/
Dredd. This prompted Shortstack, Hills, and some DJs from local radio station
Wild 99.7 (who co-sponsored this event) to come to ringside to lend aid to
Cash. Quinson was able to maintain control of the match with Cash making small
comebacks, one of which only lasted for 5 minutes. Cash was able to land a
“Cash Flow” finisher from the top rope only to have Quinson kick out at 2 1/2.
Cash was then tossed outside the ring so that The Empire could “attempt” to
inflict punishment but it didn’t work Instead, J-Cash flipped over the top
rope from outside. Quinson attempted to hold onto the ropes but Hills & the
gang from Wild 99.7 hit the ropes causing Quinson to lose his grip, allowing
J-Cash to score the pin via outside cradle, winning the Championship!
Winner: J-Cash NEW ACW CHAMP!!!!
Well folks, that was it for the matches & the event. Hope to see you all on
October 15th at The Bar in Appleton for the next edition of ACW-NWA wrestling.
Until then, this is “Superfan” Eric Swayniac saying: “Enjoy the Party”.
