ACW/NWA WRESTLING

Sat. Aug. 20th, 2005

Planet Magic in Denmark, WI

Reported By: Eric Swayniac, Official SFP Consultant for ACW/NWA

Welcome everyone to another report of ACW-NWA wrestling at Planet Magic in
Denmark, WI on the final stop of ACW/NWA’s Summer Meltdown Tour. Onto the
matches:

1) X-Division 3-way Elimination Match: Bobby V vs. T-Bone vs. TC Washington
Another great start to an event, showcasing X-Division action. Great action
between the combatants with TC suffering the first of many double-team attacks.
Shortly thereafter, he was singled out for punishment & sent to the outside,
leaving Bobby V & T-Bone in the ring. Using a distractionary tactic, Bobby V
was able to get the upper hand, use an Unprettier (borrowed from WWE Superstar
Christian) and eliminate T-Bone. Afterwards, Bobby V continued to work & focus
on TC’s back, controlling the match. However, La Cosa Nostra interjected
themselves into the match, laying into Washington in a brutal 3-on-1 attack,
until Xavier Mustafa ran in and planted Bobby V with a piledriver, allowing TC
to pick up the win via pinfall. Outside the ring, Mustafa grabbed the mic,
pointed at TC and shouted, “You owe me!”
Winner: TC Washington via pinfall

2) The Playas in Pink vs. Ace Spade & The Widowmaker
This was a pretty good tag match, showcasing the talents of these wrestlers
trying to make a name for themselves. Too bad for Spade & Widowmaker that The
Playas in Pink needed to resort to dirty tactics to establish control of the
match & dominate Ace Spade throughout the match. Ace was able to get a tag
from The Widowmaker, and mounted a small comeback but cheap tricks prevailed
once again, as Uncle Morty had to hold down Widowmaker’s feet on the outside so
that Kuba Andrews could gain the win.
Winners: The Playas in Pink via pinfall

3) “White Dragon” Rob Lee vs. Angel Armoni
Unfortunately for us, there were no earplugs handed out prior to this match, so
that the fans did not have to hear Armoni on the mic before the match got
underway. Rob Lee came out to a loud pop from the crowd, and even gave his
shirt away to a fan. Match got underway with Rob establishing some control
until Armoni “bent the rules” in his favor & established control. White Dragon
was able to mount small comebacks throughout the match but Armoni would always
find a way to gain it back, focusing on Rob Lee’s back. However, despite the
tactics of Armoni, Lee survived to rollup Angel into a pinning position.
Winner: “White Dragon” Rob Lee via Small Package

4) Last Team Sober Match: La Cosa Nostra vs. NWA WI Tag Team Champs Spanish Stew
This match’s rules were simple: 3 rounds of wrestling; pinfalls/submissions
don’t count; at the end of each round Bar Master Will the Thrill serves drink;
match ends when one team is too drunk to wrestle. The NWA Tag Team Titles were
not on the line for this match. Action was pretty good between the 2 tag teams.
Spanish Stew was able to establish & maintain control over Don Gotti & Nick
Colluci. The Playas in Pink decided to interject themselves into the match,
attacking La Cosa Nostra, causing The Thrill to call the match a No Contest.
But, much to the delight of the crowd, Spanish Stew & La Cosa Nostra exacted
revenge on The Playas in Pink, clearing them from the ring, and the crowd was
enjoying the match & the drinking anyway.
Winners: EVERYONE!!!

5) NWA WI Champion Adrian Serrano vs. Peter B. Beautiful
Before match got underway, Peter B. got on the mic, and stated how he was sick
of being booked into nothing but hardcore matches and wanted a legitimate
wrestling match with anyone from the back. This prompted Adrian to come out
from the back and accept his challenge. Even though it was requested, the NWA
WI belt was not on the line. Match was evenly paced between the two with a
seesaw battle to establish control early on. Peter did lose his temper & went
hardcore grabbing a steel chair, which Adrian used against Peter without
actually “using” the chair. It was Peter’s lack of control over his temper
that enabled Serrano to clamp on a submission hold, forcing Peter to submit.
Winner: Adrian Serrano via armbar submission

6) 3-way #1 Contenders Match: J-Cash vs. Ruff Ryder Rashaan vs. Mason Quinn
This match was originally supposed to be a 5-way Iron Man Match to determine who
should face ACW Heavyweight Champ Quinson Valentino, but ACW Owner & leader of
The Empire Jason Jerry changed it earlier in the night by saying that Silas
Young & most of The Empire were given the night off because “Denmark was not
worth it.” Match action was very good; no one man was able to lock onto
control for very long. In fact, double team attacks were used quite often with
first J-Cash delivering a Running DDT/Clothesline combo, the Ruff Ryder
delivering a Double Crossbody block, and finally Mason Quinn delivering Double
Japanese Arm Drags. At one point, Cash was singled out for punishment but was
able to mount a comeback, finally scoring the victory.
Winner: J-Cash via “Cash Flow”

7) X-Division Title Match: Justin Dredd w/ Anne vs. Jesus Ramirez
Match didn’t officially start until Shortstack and Kerry, who cut off Dredd &
Anne’s attempt to flee the ring and retreat backstage, forced Dredd back to the
ring. Jesus was able to stand toe-to-toe with Dredd until dirty tactics from
Anne swayed the match in his favor. Dredd was able to maintain control with
Jesus mounting small comebacks. Just as Jesus was going for the win, Anne
distracted the ref, causing Stack & Kerry to “remove” her from the ring apron.
However, the distraction was all Dredd needed to retain his title. After the
match, Jesus & Shortstack got into a heated argument where Jesus blamed Stack
for costing him the match. Shortstack left disgusted but Kerry ran after him
to try & smooth things over, only to be grabbed by Jesus. Is there a future
bout between these two X-Division stars brewing?
Winner: Justin Dredd via pinfall (retains NWA WI X-Division Championship)

8) Main Event: Big John Holmes & Shane Hills vs. Dysfunction & Major Mayhem w/
Anne
Before match got underway, Big John came out to a thunderous ovation from the
hometown crowd. This match was booked as a “Denmark Rules” match, meaning
there were no rules & anything goes. Dys took forever to get the match
underway, which quickly spilled outside the ring. The fight was taken
everywhere: by the ticket stand, merchandise stand, the beer truck, amongst the
fans, countless chairs, even towards a parking lot. On the way back from the
parking lot, Sam Hayne’s disciples kidnapped Dysfunction & took him to God
knows where. Due to Dysfunction’s absence, it was easy for Shane and Big John
to finally pin Mayhem. After the match, Jason Jerry grabbed the mic, but not
before Mystique came from behind & delivered a devastating reverse DDT on Anne,
taking her out. Jerry then proceeded to admonish Mystique saying that he was
sick and tired of Sam Hayne sticking his nose in his business & ruining all his
plans, which prompted Sam’s arrival. All Sam had to do was tap Jason on the
shoulder & the evil Jew fainted. Sam then blew his infamous fireball in the
air, celebrating with Hills & Big John, all to the roaring cheers of the crowd.
An excellent finish to this final tour stop of the 2005 Summer Meltdown Tour.
Winners: Shane Hills & Big John Holmes via “Top Rope Splash” from Holmes

Well folks, that just about covers it for this edition. Hope to see you all at
the next ACW-NWA showing occurring September 24th in Green Bay, WI at The Bar at
606 Lime Kiln Rd. Until then, this is Eric Swayniac saying: “May all your pins
be legal”.
