Also, last night, Brew City Wrestling in Waukesha, WI held their first show of
the new year, and started things off with a "bang". They introduced a new
title, the No-Limits Championship, and a whole set of rules that went along
with it. The tournament for the new title began with Angel armoni taking on
"El Vato" Jose Guerrero in the opening bout, facing dysfunction in the second
round, after he defeated Brandon Blaze. Delicious Danny Scott took omn Judge
Jesse in route to meeting Derek St. Holmes, Esq., who had advanced as a result
of his win over Jimmy Goomba. The semi-finals contained even more stipulations
and even more action as DDS and St. Holmes battled in a "Falls Count Anywhere"
match and Armoni advancing to the finls as a result of his win over
Dysfunction. Armoni was crowned the first Brew City Wrestling No Limits
Champion after gaining the upper hand over DDS, who was injured in his previous
match against St. Holmes.
In other BCW action, Tommy Courageous battled youngster T.C. Washington and "The
Real Shooter" Adrian Serrano took on Jack Berzerker in an incredible match. In
only theie second match, Xavier Mustafa and his tag team partner chris Black
took on traveling veterans The Soul Shooters, making their BCW debut. Look for
this talented duo, comprising of "Poison" Apollo Starr & Drew "The Don"
Johnson, in future BCW shows.
In the main event, crowd favorite Dinn T. Moore battled BCW Champion "Metalhead"
Steve Stone in a quest to regain his BCW title. After weathering an attack
from a mystery man, Moore struggled to the ring, and it looked like he would
not able to compete, but Dinn insisted on continuing, despite losing blood from
the pre-match attack. Stone took advantage of Dinn T.'s condition with a
merciless pounding, taking him all across the arena, wiping out our table in
the process. By this time, referee Scott Damarc was going to declare Dinn T.
unable to continue, but Dinn T. summoned the strength to not only continue, but
pin the Metalhead in what would have to be considered an upset, but without a
doubt, a definite rise above adversity. However, there is little doubt that it
is the last time "Stoney" wil hold gold in BCW.
BCW next appears on Feb 4 at the BCW Arena. For more information, check out
their site at http://www.brewcitywrestling1.com, or simply click on our link!
