I was riding with a neighbor and our horses were walking side by side and seemed to be getting along when all of a sudden, I was kicked in the leg and fell off my horse.  I broke my tibia in my right leg and the horse's hoof cut my leg to the bone.  I was taken by ambulance from the hospital in Williston to Shands in Gainesville.  They wanted to put a metal rod in my leg, but I chickened out.  So, I was stitched and sent home at 4am with about twenty ace bandages wrapped around my leg.  I go back to Gainesville to the orthopedic Drs on Thurs. and will probably have to have the surgery.  This hurts like heck man.  Anyway, please be careful when trail riding.  No matter how peaceful things may seem, animal nature can come into play in an instant.  I know I learned my lesson.
