Update on Saturday's workday and places to meet.
Some of us are going to the restaurant in Nobleton at 8:30 to have breakfast. Please join us!
You can meet us there or on the RTTs at 10:00 AM.
If you want to go directly to the worksite then meet us at the River Access sign on RTTs which is @halfway between where Edgewater Ave crosses RTT just south of Nobleton and where Croom Rital Road crosses RTTs. You are allowed to drive along RTT for workdays but please be careful of everyone using the trail. If you are coming from the north access RTT at Edgewater and drive south along RTT. If you are coming from Dempsey or the south you can access RTTs from Croom road and drive north.
We have a good group coming with plenty of equipment to get the 1.5 mile section knocked out. We have a heavy duty tractor coming and if we had one more crew of a couple of people with a chain and/or pole saw that would enable us to get the trail cleared all the way to where the interstate crosses over RTTs. That would add several more miles of cleared trail. Let me know if you can help out.
