I'm obviously sad because you never like this kind of
thing to happen to anyone, much less your own team.
In a lot of ways Billy had the biggest upside of
anyone on our squad. But OTOH it was pretty well
recognized that there were chemistry issues with last
year's team, and rumored that he was at the center of
some of them. I'm disappointed it's turned out like
this, but it may well be what needed to happen.
Without knowing what the unspecified violation of team
rules was, it's hard to make any kind of judgement.

This may make it harder for us to recruit Memphis.
However, it frees up a scholarship for Julian Terrell
next year. It's disturbing, but in the long term
maybe for the best.
