Interesting.... personally i don't expect OM to be
very good this year, but Rod Barnes is a coach that i
never count totally out of it, so by the end of the
year i wouldn't put it past them to be a sleeper.

What's more novel, from my perspective, is the Bald
Babbler's sudden appreciation for basketball beyond
Duke, UNC, Kentucky, and maybe one or two other "name
programs". Oh, and Notre Dame because his daughter
goes there. I found his pick of ND for the Sweet
Sixteen last year, with him not even bothering to
comment on the Ole Miss team they would have to upset,
as very reminiscent of his Illinois pick (over
unmentioned Vanderbilt) in 1993. Why now the sudden
respect for Ole Miss?

Anyway, it's not like i really care what such a shill
for the big-time programs has to say, but it is good
to see Barnes get some well-deserved praise.
