In case you have been thinking that your skate boots are getting too small, please read this:

As you may know, I am the official Bont skate rep for SCSSA Members Only.  I received the below suprize email this morning.  The Bont company, located in Australia, is preparing to shut down for 3 months while they move.   Bonts are the manufacturers for almost all of our non-elite speed skate boots.

If you feel that you will be needing new custom molded skate boots, please get in touch with me immediately.  It takes about 7 to 10 days to get a pair of plaster feet to Australia, and as you can see, they must receive all new custom orders before the end of the month.  Delivery should be in about 5 weeks after I cast your feet.

Again, this is for our SCSSA skaters only.

Dear Bont Distributors and Shops, 

Bont is relocating to larger premises during the off-season for inline. This means that the final orders for custom and stock boots will be September 30, 2006.
After this date, the only goods we can ship will be goods that we currently have in stock like Assassin boots, wheels, frames, bearings, and clothes.
We will resume production early in 2007 with many new and exciting skates including recreational skates, semi-race skates, and bike shoes.
If you need any stock between September and January, please order it all now.
