This coming Friday, August 18th, we will have a special little treat:  Sunset is at about 7:45 PM.  At 8:05 PM, the International Space Station (ISS) will pass almost directly overhead, moving from South West to North East.  The pass will last about 5 minutes.  While you don't have to be at the beach to see it, the visibility is better there, and the ISS will be very visible, looking like a bright star as it moves across the sky.  There are currently three people aboard, a US Astronaut, an European Space Agency Astronaut, and a Russian Cosmonaut.
