This is a reminder that our Skate-a-thon will be held Saturday, Oct.
2nd at Glacial Gardens in Lakewood. It will be held during our
Saturday night ice. For those that don't know, a skate-a-thon lasts
30 minutes and you skate as many laps as you can in that time. The
skater gets sponsors to sponsor them a $$$ amount for each lap skated
or a flat fee for skating...just like the Bike-a-thon. Sponsorship
forms are at the check-in desk with Sylvia and Jean. This is one of
the best ways we have of raising extra funds to help supplement the
ice costs. We are still working on a loss as of now, due to
outstanding punch cards. We are getting closer to our goals....
