For all those parents that are sending skaters to the first America
Cup in Saratoga Springs, NY, you must make arrangements in advance
for an adult to supervise and drive them to and from the rink. Do
NOT take it for granted that they are taking care of. This is not a
club event, where one adult handles everyone. Also, those skaters
not old enough to rent a car, you must plan ahead for a ride also.
Many families going already have full cars. Several times now, we
have had confusion with young skaters going and their parents
assuming it's taken care of. It just doesn't work that way. Please,
please make your arrangements in advance or travel with your skater.
