Mandatory fundraising

Hi, All.

Just a reminder about the fundraising project we are now undertaking.
Participation is voluntary, but paying is mandatory. The deadline for
the current fundraising project is August 1st. All families, skating at
Lakewood, must either raise $250 in our fundraising efforts or to donate
$300 if unavailable to do the fundraising. All funds are due by August
1st, 2004, as that is about the time we will run out of money. Checks to
be made payable to SCSSA. Remember, donations are tax deductible!

Skaters who have not helped in the fundraising by August 1st will be
required to pay the additional $5 per ice session (Lakewood ice) and $10
per off-ice session, as a coaching fee. It is easy to see that
participating in the fundraisers will be better for all.

Currently there are two fundraisers planned for the near future: The
Bike-A-Thon, and the Dinner and a Movie. We are working to have
additional fundraising opportunities prior to the August 1st deadline.
BUT---we can’t do this without your help!
