but here are a few more in case anyone is interested in a "foreign
exchange skater".

I just visited the website for SoCal Speed Skating Association and was wondering if you knew of anyone who could help us out.  I represent a non-profit, high school cultural exchange program, Academic Year in America (AYA), which assists students from around the world with finding host families for their year-long stay in the USA.  

We often get students from overseas who are very involved in speed skating and would like to continue their training while they are here in the USA.  It is not always easy to find American families willing to take students into their home for a year, let alone families who have a background in speed skating.  I was wondering if you could pass around the following student profiles amongst your members to see if anyone (or yourself) would be willing to host them.  I can send you more information about the AYA program if you are interested or you can visit our website: www.academicyear.org.
